Deja vu

Can someone explain how/why it happens?

Ask Denzel Washington..! :p

Re: Deja vu

Thread title needs immediate correction to "Deja vu all over again"

An example that comes to mind is India beating Pakistan in cricket again and again and again. Why does it happen? Don't know.

Re: Deja vu

^ cricket kam dekha Karen :hmmm:

Re: Deja vu

It is considered transient neuronic discharge giving false impression of familiarity.

Feelings of 'been there done that', but in reality that may not be true. (the cricket example above is incorrect ;) )

This can happen to perfectly normal people or people with psychiatric disorders. But really not diagnostic to any disorder.

Re: Deja vu

hmm I just had a dejaVu… I have been to this thread before… :hmmm:

Re: Deja vu

^ yes may be with your other nick.

Re: Deja vu

Have experience it. You get the feeling you have been there before - the same set of circumstances - person walikng across the street - bit eerie - like a parallel universe which you have experienced earlier- relieving the experience in the present universe.
