Some Traditions
Prophet Muhammad (saww) asked his companions of "the firmest handhold of faith". They suggested different things like prayer and hajj. When they could not give the appropriate answer the Prophet said: The firmest handhold of faith is to love for the sake of God and to hate for the sake of God, to befriend God's friends and to renounce His enemies. [al‑Kulayni, 1397 A.H., Kitab al‑Iman wal‑Kufr]
It is related in the tradition of the Prophet (SAWA)’s Ascension, ‘O Muhammad, My love is due to those who love each other for My sake, and My love is due to those who are kind to each other for My sake, and My love is due to those who maintain communication with each other for My sake, and My love is due to those who trust Me, and there is no ensign, end or culmination to My love, and whenever I raise an ensign for them I lower another ensign for them.’[Irshad al-QulUb, no. 199]
Imam Hussain (as) said in one of his supplications: ‘It is You Who removed the strangers from the hearts of Your lovers so that they never love other than You… What does the one who loses You find [besides You]?! And what does the one who finds You lose [out on]?! He indeed fails who is satisfied with a substitute for You.’[Bihar al-Anwar, v. 98, p. 226, no. 3]
Imam sadiq (as) was asked whether love and hatred derive from faith. Imam replied: "Is faith anything but love and hate?" [al‑Kulayni, 1397 A.H., Kitab al‑Iman wal‑Kufr]

1 - God has rights on us because He is our Creator so let’s not forget this. He doesn’t need us rather we need Him. He knows best what is the state of mother theresa but yes generally speaking we believe that whoever didn’t die upon Islam will go to hell. And I think we should worry about ourselves more than fate of other people.
2 - “didn’t worship God the way God wanted her to” - you make it sound like as if that’s no big deal. It’s like saying how could I get a ticket for my bad driving when I didn’t follow the rules as they were prescribed. Belief and actions work together!

Worship is love and veneration
as the saying goes “to each its own” but there are plenty of stuff by “wahabis” on this topic from which one can find sakinah in his/her heart after reading it: early ones like Hasan al-Basri, Abdullah ibn Mubarak etc and latter ones like Ibn al-Qayyim, ibn Rajab al-hanabli etc.
that’s just Hamza Yusuf’s erroneous understanding of al-wala wal-barra and Islam is free from it, wa allhamdulillah.

This statement of yours is enough for me to ignore you. Alhamdulilah I was saved from wahabis and their wahabi mentality. Al wala wal barra is about hating the sins of a sinner but you're obviously not gonna agree but let me ask you why all wahabis are so full of hate towards non muslims as well as muslims who don't agree with them?

as far as Wahabi is concerned you know how i came towards a religion I came after visiting a mazar which is based in Kalar Kahar known by the name of Moro(peacock) wali sarkar they are two brothers and grandson of sheikh Abdul Qadir Jillani I made dua there also went to the cave where Sultan Baho did his chilla that is spent 40 days and at that night my Life started changing

Hindu Marhatas you mean, well there was a valid reason for those muslims to fight because they were being oppressed by Marhatas. Those Sufis never used violence to preach Islam.
