The power of the Muslim is in his 'iman not in his rage. If we fight fire power with our fire power with the current levels of taqwah we have or THINK we have we will lose. When we avoid fighting we are doing a jihad - don’t you realise this? When we are driven to a point of anger to fight and resist - this is jihad - if we fight on the battlefield not wishing to harm people unnecessarily this is jihad. It is no jihad for a blood thirsty enraged person to fight - he will be doing exactly what his nufs tells him to do.
Jihad on the battlefield mean maintaining the RULES of engagement whilst in the state of war.
Fighting with an enemy that we know does not share the same ethics as us in war would be walking to our slaughter. To encourage other Muslims to do the same will be asking them to die in vain. No … rather we invest in piety and when we have 'iman like we had before that karamat start to happen at the hands of people then it is time to walk out against oppression and the angels will come to our aid. You see a Muslim should not fear anyone other than Allah (SWT), but to get out of bed and walk on to a battlefield without any spiritual training do you think this person will be afraid of death, afraid of his enemy, angered to break the rules of engagement - yes. Muslim armies in the late wars during WWI and WWII killed children and raped women … this is because they fought without the spiritual strength necessary to disarm their rage. War changes a person and jihad is about resisting that change. If only people realise this … if someone swears at me on the street I ignore them - I don’t take it as war and fight them - I don’t fear that I will be thought of as weak - rather they want to annoy me and I don’t show my annoyance … This is how we should be … Now wake up bro and join the fold … SubhanAllah!
I have a question when this spitual training will complete in next 500 years or next 1000 years? sir the Rule is when you come underattack than you have no choice but to hit back thats the Rule of Islam
