In my youth I spent a lot of time learning about the Deen, most unlearned people focus on just self attention and superficial stuff like you can see the womans hair etc. Today I will teach you about health AND FITNESS , yoi guys can contribute your quotes from deen,
STRONG BELIEVER IS BETTER THAN WEAK BELIEVER(BUKHARI)
Participate in sports
In Islam, sports are important to gain a healthy body. Sports like archery, swimming, horseback riding are especially encouraged. Islam encourages exercise and being in good physical shape. The Prophet said, “A strong believer is better and dearer to God than a weak believer, though in both is good.” The one who is physically stronger is better before God because they are more active and energetic in the performance of worship and taking care of the needs of others.
UHMM…there are different kinds of strength and more than likely this hadith is referring to spiritual strength and not physical strength. Even a Muslim who appears physically weak can have strong will power and iman. That’s a no-brainer…I think even a kid can figure that out and you’re an adult for crying out loud.
But anyway…let’s run with your self-serving conclusion for a moment. Since you fancy yourself to be physically stronger…and since you say that physical strength translates into active/energetic performance of worship…
SO HOW MANY NAMAZAIN ARE YOU PRAYING THESE DAYS DUE TO YOUR PHYSICAL STRENGTH? ARE YOU OFFERING THE SUNNAT AND NAFAL PRAYER UNITS AS WELL? HOW MUCH DAILY DHIKR/TASBEEH ARE YOU DOING?
To us it seems that you hardly ever leave this website…much less that you should allot sufficient time for your 2 wives or even your physical/spiritual development.
Yes, Islam does emphasize exercise and taking care of one's health and appearance. But to skew this particular hadith into meaning by saying that the "physically" stronger believer is superior to Allah is self-serving manipulation.
@@redvelvet I can give you deeni taleem, hadrat Ali RA was a fierce warrior and a very learned human also, they say healthy body healthy mind, are you seriously disagreeing with Hadith?
@redvelvet learned muslims know that looking after your body and health is Ibadah, your body and soul are a gift from Allah SWT, people who abuse their bodies are thankless to Allah
please improve your faith by taking care of yourself
haha that was the last thing i wanted on GS… Bobby wearing Namaz vali toppi giving us deeni taleem and leading the lashkar of muslims against enemies of ISLAM
Anyhow… you got it all wrong. ISLAM does urge us all to pay attention to physical health but that does not mean we should start worshiping our bodies lolz…

Look at the effects of haadharram mufta khori and laziness. Your health and body is a gift of god and taking care of your body is Ibadah!!
The prevalence of cardiovascular disease amongst Muslim men in the population is 60-70%, greater than that of men in the general population. [4]
The prevalence of diabetes between the ages of 25-75 in the South Asian community is 20%, five times greater than the community as a whole. [5]
South Asians are 1.5 times more likely to suffer from heart disease and strokes compared to Europeans in the UK. [6]
So you planning to take insulin and blood pressure pills to the battle ground and would you need servant girls to carry your ammo, how would you rush an army post on a hill??
This is why I want to be very careful now when discussing religious matters. Any lay person can have his own interpretation and believe it's correct, thinking he/she is a religious scholar. Even if you do have some knowledge, humbleness is important.
The strongest person is one who can control his anger and tongue, anyone who has an anger issue knows how difficult this is. A physically fit muslim can defend his family and Islam in times of war etc, but if we can't fight our own nafs what does it matter if you've got a six-pack or if your triceps are bigger than your biceps. That's just a plus point for your wives to enjoy.
@Mademoiselle
I have spent years educating myself about deen, used to go to tableghi ijtimaa and darul Aloom. I have read many tafseers of Quran also. I feel that frothing in the mouth fanatics who know nothing about the faith and are belligerent are the ones destroying the faith.
If my boy gets up at 5 am to run 15k, controls his urges to eat sugary fatty foods so who has better control of nafs? A hadhaaram sleeping till 12, eating 8 rotis with Nihari and paya? Health comes with controlling nafs
A healthy fit man has better control of nafs than a lazy paittoo
Sorry to barge in and not debating what you are saying but would just like point out the Triceps are naturally bigger than the Biceps in humans. Please carry the on
My understanding was also that it is referring to physical strength. However, with this type of hadith I would look at it more like if all other aspects between two people are equal, then this would give one additional virtue over the other. However, practically this is next to impossible to really make this comparison, because it is hardly the only factor by which you can judge someone.

Who was a more valuable Muslim, the one who conquered Constantinople or the one who does wazeefa and can’t even stand straight.
Many of these heart throbs gift to women have no triceps or biceps they think chiknahat is good. Sometimes I give someone a friendly smack and the arm jiggles for 20 seconds
