EVERYTHING THAT'S FUN IS HARAM! MUSLIMS ARE JUST SUPPOSE TO BE SAD, AND ALWAYS DONATING. THEY ARE ALWAYS SUPPOSE TO REMEMBER THAT THERE ARE OTHER PEOPLE IN THE WORLD SUFFERING - SO TO KEEP THEM IN MIND THE REST OF THE MUSLIMS MUST JUST PRAY AND BE SAD.
JUST YESTERDAY SOMEONE POSTED THAT VALENTINES IS HARAM (on another website).
HOW CAN LOVE BE HARAM? VALENTINES DID NOT EXIST IN THE PROPHET'S TIME - SO HOW CAN IT BE WRITTEN HARAM?

What I have seen is basically mosques are decorated with lights, maybe posters of khana kabbah or masjid-e-nabwi mostly, and with islamic calligraphy. I don't see anything wrong with that.

the thread opener is prolly never been to mosque either because they are all decorated with as Luci ji said .. with islamic stuff and nice gree carpet with Musallahs on it etc etc .. tojo masjid mein zindagi mein nahi giya .. what do u think that this person has knowledge of islamic in their opinion .. islam ..seekha jaata hai ... made up nahi .. aur seekhney k liye masaajid mein jana hota hai where scholars give lectures on aadaab, what real islam is ..
if one person door se hi sit kar k watching a fight .. and says that this persons fault.. how can he .. ?? similarly jo masaajid ..jo Allah k ghar hain jana Allah ki ibaadat ki jaati hai and they are decorated nicely .. say that fulaan thing is haraam ..Islam ko qareeb se jaa k dekho !! then make ur deciosns.

i clarified that i wrongly used the word haram but its is condemned
Types of Bid’ah
historically speaking in times of sayyidna abu bakr /sayyidna umar there were minor variations made to masjid-e-nabuwi but its humble nature was maintained …the caliph after them decorated the masjid with other more expensive material and a lot of sahaba [ra] got angry and prostested.
Decoration of Kaaba with “soonay ka ghilaf” is also a innovation of tyrants and not sanctioned by the khulafa

firstly, i dunt learn my knowledge from any websites and just follow on it.
, i acquire my knowledge by sitting down with scholars who arent extreme and are also accepted as 'Siqa' by the Ummah ..
secondly, do you knw what a Bid'ah Hasana is ? ..find out then! .. cos decorating and bueutify mosques, shrines, ka'aba shareef is a Bid'ah Hasana.
Am not gonna debate with you further cos ..i know that for someone who hasnt such knowldege on issues which you have bought up ... is useless and pointless.

main lanat bhaijta hoin un logon pay jinhoon nay deen ko tijarat bana liya hai aur baray islam ka daiy bantay hain ....
Real scholars are those whose protest against innovations and DO NOT follow them blindly

i know what it is ...but this is not Bidah hasana
this is a innovation of tyrants and corrupt clergy
then the hadith of ibn abbass, anas b malik , umar b khattab are zaif that mosques shud be simple and not extravagent ?
