I married a man whom I thought was decent because he prayed 5 times a day sometimes tahajud also , fast , do taraweeh , reads Quran and has multiple masters degree. That was “decent” in my point of view but neither he proved himself to be a decent husband nor a decent father to my daughter. All that glitters is not gold.
