Men and women both are supposed to lower their gaze, BUT do they? Try standing on a roadside in riyadh, Karachi, Lahore, Cairo, Abu Dhabi wearing proper attire not attracting attention and see how Muslim men lower their gaze. But has anything been done to implement that particular verse which req men to lower their gaze?Then why all the stress on putting women in a black cover and make it a pillar of Islam, when its not? Answer lies in our patriachel society.
