These three names alleged for separation of East Pakistan lost their lives due to unnatural deaths and most of their family members also met the same fate.
Someone wrote that its a curse on them due to their involvement in Dhaka fall.
Was that just a coincident or that was bound to happen irrespective of their connection with Dhaka fall?
Re: Deaths of Bhutto, Indira and Mujeeb - Coincident?
Its interesting and chatpata bit you have pointed out, but not much to discuss as its merely coincidence that two of them got assassinated and one was hanged. There were not just three players, lot more and the east pakistan issue was not an accident that exploded in 70-71, it was building up since 1947. Jinnah imposed urdu on bengalis and subsequent langauge movement. Injustice , inequality and racism against bengalis. Cultural incompatibility. Colonial attitude with bengalis etc. Bhutto was just a selfish and oppurtunist politician but the real criminal was Pak army who forgot islamic and human values and did such terrible things to bengalis that would draw them into "to-be-cursed" circle, but neither yahya khan nor tikka khan or tiger got cursed to die un-naturally. The same tikka khan decieved nawab nauroz khan of balochs, promising them safe exit from mountain, by taking oath on Quran. Tikka khan broke that Quran oath and he didnt get cursed in this life.
Re: Deaths of Bhutto, Indira and Mujeeb - Coincident?
Mujeeb was killed by soldiers (Major Farooq).. yes
Indira was killed by security guards -- so we can say yes
Bhutto was hanged due to judicial murder proceedings stated to have been influenced by military dictator (Zia ul Haq) - so again a yes
Re: Deaths of Bhutto, Indira and Mujeeb - Coincident?
Indira Gandhi was killed by her Sikh bodyguard because she had ordered an attack on Golden Temple in Amritsar. it had nothing to do with creation of Bangladesh.
to be honest, Pakistan [the West Pakistan at the time] was responsible for dismemberment of it's Eastern Half. Butto, Yahya Khan were equally responsible.
the West Pakistan deprived East Pakistan majority of it's share.

West Pakistan never deprived East Pakistan of anything....East Pakistan was overpopulated and too nationalist in nature. They wanted us all to speak Bengali...and this war of "my culture is better than yours" is what India picked up on in 1969 and backed and trained rebels.
I say good riddance East Pakistan left...I mean look at the problems Bangladesh faces today. It almost has the same population as Pakistan, is no bigger than Sindh and over half it's landmass it AT or below sea level. Within 50-100 years there might not even be a Bangladesh left....probably might be all under the Bay of Bengal!
Re: Deaths of Bhutto, Indira and Mujeeb - Coincident?
Mujib was killed by the Bangladesh Army in 1975 because he was an Indian agent...after 1971 when "Bangladesh liberated itself" he essentially usurped democracy, banned the free press, banned all political parties except his and made Bangladesh into a dictatorship. There were rumours circulating that he wanted to reabsorb Bangladesh into India and that's why the Bangladesh Army killed him in 1975....notice the date they chose....15 AUGUST 1975.
If that wasn't symbolic, I don't know what else was.

Any evidence / reference for the bold part 'They wanted all of us to speak Bengali'?
PS: What is the conversion rate of Bengladesh's currency to USD today? :D

1 US dollar = 102 PKR
1 US dollar = 75 Bangladeshi Taka
1 US dollar = 59 Indian Rupees
Re: Deaths of Bhutto, Indira and Mujeeb - Coincident?
1 US Dollar = 105.28 Japanese Yen
What's your point? Bangladesh's economy is not even half of Pakistan's. You people are so obsessed with your US dollar conversions as if that actually makes a difference. The US dollar is years away from completely collapsing anyway.
Learn economics.
As for Bengali, please explain why Bengali was made an official language along side Urdu? Why wasn't Pashto or Sindhi or Punjabi made co-official languages? Refer to the 1956 Constitution of Pakistan please.
