Death Threats

Re: Death Threats

You know, I am known for being over-protective and all that...yet I feel so uneasy about this whole thing. The detective called us back, he actually felt sorry for the poor drunken guy. He said that the guy DOES have this missing cousin and his phone number is somewhat similar to ours so it indeed may have been a drunken misdial. But he KNEW our NAME...thats the thing. The caller's name is in no way similar to ours. The detective kept saying that well, it was the middle of the night, your husband may have stated his name (NOT likely). Anyway, the detective recommended that we do not, at this time, press any charges so we didnt. But at least I have the guys last name now, his phone number and the town that he lives in...and my sisters hubby is a NYC cop, a lieutenant. So I think we'll take it privately from here and enlist his help. I am just so very creeped out about the whole thing.

ps We DO have a shotgun that I reviewed with my hubby after this. A handgun is out of the question because my boys would just be crazed with wanting to play with it. They dont have the ability to handle the shotgun (yet!) so thats what we have for now. Along with the 2 pretty protective doggies.
