SO. with everything else going all frigging wrong. AT 3:12 am last nite, our phone rings. Apparent wrong number. The guy calls back, all agitated now. My hubby explains once again that he’s got the wrong number. He calls back two more times and starts threatening his life, telling my hubby how he’s going to die. My hubby tells the guy that he’s hanging up and calling 911. He did. Now they have detectives persuing the phone number and calling the guy in for questioning.
Scary huh? I am so upset over this whole thing, looking over my shoulder when I drive my boys to school. Should I notify the schools that my boys attend? The thing that creeps me out the most is that the guy KNEW OUR LAST NAME…and we have an unlisted number. Thank goodness, Buddy Boy the CHow Chow would rip the guy to pieces but who the heck needs THIS???
We were asked whether we want to press charges. If no, then they just drop the whole thing. If yes, then they bring the guy in for questioning and ask whats up, why did you call these people etc etc. So we want the guy brought in…I NEED to know what the problem is here. I have three little boys who NEED to have their mommy AND their daddy.
Yes, we are hoping that it was a wrong number and that the guy was drunk or something, blowing off steam....but then again, HOW did he know our last name? Our name and number are unlisted.
yeh it is some one you know have faith on Allah (swt) Pray as much as you can coz that is the best cure of all bad things Insha Allah every thing will be fine :) all our duas are with you :)
hey the mama is already scared pretty sheetless. But then again, my hubby worked from home today and the first order of business was to go over the shotgun with me.
I all LOCKED and LOADED now!!! lol!!
no worries people, bullets are hidden away where boys cannot get to them but the MAMA can
I remember when we had put up a For Sale sign infront of our house we got a call from this man threatening us. He threatened my mom that she better give him the money from the sale of the house or else...
Anyway, mom called the police right away. I dont know if anything was done but Alhumdulillah we never got a call from him again. We've since moved.
A detective just called us back. He said that the caller is a young-ish guy, drunk and upset over his missing 5-year old nephew (which he confirmed). It seems that the guy dialed us up incorrectly but he told us to please call him back if we get any other calls.
I'm still totally creeped out. I mean the guy knew our last name, his nephew is missing and the same age as MY boys....
Theres a never ending possibilility of what-ifs here. None of them good except for the one where I blam his head off with the shotgun.
So solly, I'm TYPICALLY a non-violent person......
that is pretty scary. kinda the same thing happened to us with our unlisted phone number and we lived in an apartment building. walking in the hallways was terrifying for me. the guy basically said he was a cop and he was going to beat the crap out of the husband and throw him in jail for stealing!! we were like WTF???!!! and not to mention pscyho swearing on the guy's part. man that was really scary!!
the police did jack about it, and i was pretty disapointed. they didn't even want to meet with us! we finally figured that it was maybe a tenent at a friend's house who must have done the calling since we happened to be at his house on a particular day and the calls started at that night. the weird thing was that we could hear police sirens in the background.
we had our trip scheduled to pakistan after a few weeks so thankfully when we came back, we never heard from him again. but ya, 3am calls, pretty freaky.
