Dear Musharraf

Dear President Musharraf.

The disease worse than cancer is spreading on a brake neck speed in Pakistan, slowly but steadily it is going to consume the whole country, the disease I am talking about is religious fanaticism. Being a Common educated Pakistani I do not subscribe to the ideology that Islam should rule the state.

Religion is separate to state and that’s the only way the Pakistanis can prosper. Religious fanaticism is fuelled by ignorance and Stone Age tradition in our country; this lethal mix is on the rise and is destined to destroy the country.

My question to you Mr. President, being a Pakistani from NWFP, is why haven’t you taken a much more hard-line action against these reincarnations of satin, like mullah fazlllulah and many other mullah’s who trumpet shariat, and religious dominance.
Mr. President have you ever heard the voice of the common man, believe me educated women and men, just as they are in Palestine, meet me day in and day out who want to commit suicide bombing against mullah fazlullah and all other mullahs who subscribe to the ideology that a women’s place is in home and all men should wear beards, and watch no television, have no entertainment, and live just by religion.

Why haven’t you taken a stronger stance? Many swat natives that I have met call for total decimation of people like fazlullah and his followers even their children who might be in the womb they ask for total annihilation of people with hardcore religious/old traditional ways. You are not alone you have a long following. Just because you are not following through your promises, the moderates are even deferring from your group.

People of swat are so fed up that they are saying that Musharraf should carpet bomb people who subscribe to such hardliner ideology. Raise them to the ground, women children and all. So that next time in Pakistan No one!!! Can play the religious card and get away with it.

Re: Dear Musharraf

Dear Pakora,

My name is Musharraf, I am your president, your COAS and working on constitution to become CEJ (Chief Executive Judge, someone who can execute Chief Justice at will).

My answers to your comments and concerns are below:

You have to understand, we cannot spend money and forces without approval. In caes you misunderstood me, I am not talking about parrots, oops I mean our parliamentarians rather someone who is paying for our services.

We are awaiting reimbursement of huge bills that we sent out (please don't ask me who, otherwise I'll have to answer another phone call after midnight, I don't know why they call me so late).

I don't know what you are saying, our close friends (some live in Gujrat) tell me if I take action against these people the whole nation will kick me out of country or kill me.

I can't clean them all at once, I have a plan. I have spent days and weeks on this plan, if I kill them all suddenly then "someone" will not need me anymore, who do you think will support me?

Re: Dear Musharraf

Obviously Pakora here does not know anything about the people of Swat who love Taliban and is lying as he is in fact an MQM member from Karachi.

/sarcasm

Completely agree with your statements Pakora, Mush has been too slow to act and his detractors still keep saying he is killing "innocent" people. He has not done enough killing. That is his weakness.

Re: Dear Musharraf

Pakora - your prayers seem to have been answered.

Re: Dear Musharraf

Awesome...reply.

Re: Dear Musharraf

Please keep your Bullsheit to yourself
Thanks
Pakora.

Re: Dear Musharraf

Well said. That's the gist. All dictators need such miscreants and extremists to keep their kursi.

Re: Dear Musharraf

Musharraf is a MQM's thug in Uniform, what else you expect. He ain't serious about the country.

Re: Dear Musharraf

over 800 pakistanis have been killed over last 3 months by religious fanatics. Time to pick your side.

Re: Dear Musharraf

Dear Pakora,

I can't keep this Bullsheit to myself, I have to distribute among rest of the nation, this Bullsheit is providing happiness to people who support me. Please don't be hater.

Regards,
Your president, COAS and soon-to-be CEJ

Re: Dear Musharraf

We Pakistanis want War on Terror. Not a selective fight against one or two terrorists. Not anymore.

Re: Dear Musharraf

I remember going back to Pakistan in 2002 and feeling a funny kind of freedom. I felt to be freer and people were happier. I remember spendig a lot of time in Swat, Peshawar, Quetta and feeling a freedom and relaxed atmosphere there.

It was not like in 1998 and 2000 when the Mullah had a lot of influence. The very thought of questionniong these Muallahs was wrong even if their actions by Islamic standards was exessive and extreme. The Taliban state was seen as the ideal and no one could question them. That was the only interpretation of Islam. There was an austerity.

Visiting in 2002 I felt a kind of freedom and a burden had been lifted. Things were moving forward slowly. The vocal right wingers had their power cut and were bruised. They were silent. Mushy could have cut their power supply then but for some reason he did nt and they are now more powerful than ever.

Re: Dear Musharraf

Exactly.

Re: Dear Musharraf

The problem is there are not just religious fanatics that are the problem.

What about the people killed in ethnic/provincial clashes ie MQM VS PPP/ANP, BLA VS Army?

Over the next few months many will be killed because of political violence so does that mean the PP, PML-A,B.C,D etc, ANP, MQM, MMA all are bombed??

Re: Dear Musharraf

Tell that to people like Pakora or those he knows from Swat. Will you label him a liar and MQM thug as well?

Re: Dear Musharraf

Right now, 99% of the killing is being done by jihadis. Even BLA is second fiddle. Priorities, get them straight. And unlike jihadis, the other groups actually have tangible demands and can be negotiated with.

Re: Dear Musharraf

Brother, there is big difference between political parties and these religiously retards. Political parties do not force anyone in their personal life nor force peaceful citizen who is not any threat to them. Political parties, even those that fight for independence, their conflicts are all political related, demands for equality, or desire related to their own life that they want to get fulfilled (that could be even independence). Existence of political party is not threat to anyone, though some consider that as threat because they have political conflicts with the party or consider that party they oppose are discriminating with them, or there is conflicts of rights on resources with others (nothing to do with personal life).

As for religious retards, they are not fighting for their rights as no one stops them to do whatever they like with their life (or whatever personal religious rite they would like to follow). They are not fighting against discrimination. They are not fighting for share in the resources or opportunities on basis of equality. They are not majority in an area fighting for independence.

They are fighting to impose themselves on others in their personal life. They are fighting to impose their retarded cult that they developed with the help of Shaitan by interpretation Islam wrongly. They are not interested in democracy or care about laws. They have taken arms and when state tries to stop them from breaking laws and from imposing themselves on others, they do not hesitate to fight state. They are threat to state, free society and personal lives of free Pakistani citizens. If anyone becomes threat to state, threat to freedom of citizens, breaks laws of the country and takes up arms against the state, state should crush such people by all force available, including bombing them to non-existence.

Re: Dear Musharraf

Excellent thread by Pakora!

Re: Dear Musharraf

They're rebelling against their former handlers. Dogs do bite the hand that feeds from time to time.

I don't buy the whole ideology angle...these people are as interested in statecraft as Mushy is in an independent judiciary or democracy. They certainly have no means to hold ground, so this bit of aggression is by design short lived.
