Err why didnt' he do this sooner? He's the father, and he should have protected his children first and foremost..instead of being afraid and embarrassed. Stupidity.
Not everyone finds it easy to speak up to bullies. But this wouldn't be called 'stupidity' at all.
It takes time and a lot of guts for some to finally find the courage to speak up to such people esp' their own family members! He did speak up for his daughter btw even though he found it very hard to find the courage to do so.
Everyone is **different **and reacts differently to such situations.
