serioulsy farting is a biological emission of gas, so it's very easy to measure it;)
there are instruments who measure gas (nanometers) and to do so just attach a kind of plastic bag to your asshole in order to collect the gas everytime you fart, and put up the nanometer at the other extremity....some computer program could do a regular measure, let's say each hour to provide you with farting statistics .
i was talking about emitted volume
if you wanna know the chemical composition, put the collected gas into some spectrometer to have it done. again to scientifically assess your farting activity,you could measure every few hours (4 or 6 maybe) and put the data in some excell spreadsheeet, and then analyse as you wish...

i would suggest to compare thos data to your diet, so record all that you eat, and compare it to farting statistics...

i bet some docs have done this kind of research already!

intelligence do not need school, schools were created to educatd people and increase general knowledge level, they can teach things they can not make an einstein out of a mentally disabled, vice versa, eistein did not need much school to be a genius…

i think knowledge level favors intelligence, because the more material one can think about , the greater chances are to come up with “intelligent” conclusions…
but typical street smart kids think inteligently about anything they see, and to me they have more merit, i really do admire them

Coming back to your original question as far as 'dealing with people is concerned', I think the problem lies in your need to convince other people about your views. Since you may think that your views are logical and well structured (and you should), the other person should buy into them as well. For some reason if he/she doesn't, then the issue of 'dealing' with the other person arises. It's not the other person's problem, really. :-)

You may want to consider that it might not have anything to with other person's intelligence or as you have put it his/her 'standard brain'. Physically the brain is the same for all normal human beings, unless you tell me something different. Our perception (or the 'speed of learning' as you have put it) depends on the listeners own expereinces. You can't expect people to grasp your ideas instantly... the listener may want to process things for longer period than you would like...impatience could be an issue that you are dealing with here.

Jaanu, I used to be intelligent before, It must be all the french fries that I eat now. :(

Plus you don't have to be intelligent to handle different situations, some times using ur common sense, moreover being garceful can save the day as well.

Plus generalization doesnot make complex things simple, ther are different forms of generalization in this world, The one you are most familiar with is calling other people gay (like you called dope the otehr day, how do you think a real gay person would feel about it). It's a term very commonly used these days, and we all know who and what gays are. Now I don't know what your views about the matter are but either you are OK with the whole gay scenario or you are not , If you are not ok with it then your whole freedom of expression thingie goes down the drain, so either you are commiting a hate crime or generalizing by using the same word as an insult. So basically generalization in the real world doesn't always make things simple, but more complex ( I know its used to make theories simple in science).

Anyway, please don't try to undermine my intelligence, coz I am perfectly capable of holding an intelligent conversation minus the dramatic expressions. For example one of my did you know questions go like this: Did you know that pubic hair is usually curly? or that silent farts are the most lethal ones.

Anyway, I rate you and shweets and johnny bravo as equally intelligent , funny and charming ladies. so chill.

"dealing with others" involves communication and communication means that you have to speak a common language or have some sort of common ground with the person you are communicating with. try talking in terms that the other person will understand, not only in the way that YOU are comfortable with.

if you can't rephrase your thoughts in different ways, than you do not have the degree of mastery over those thoughts as you might think you do. and in the rephrasing of your thoughts in the language of someone else, you might also learn something new as well. translating your language into someone else's language requires patience and perseverance.

Reminder: men like cat fights because they think at some point during the brawl the women will just end up kissing each other.

You make everything so dirty.

Men like catfights because:

a. High pitched screaming and shouting remind us of a bloody & vicious dog fight. Boooyaaaaaaa!

b. Unlike men's fights, women's fight last a long time. Women have more stamina then men and their light slapping and hair pulling can last far longer than a duking contest between men.

c. Original and extremely imaginative cussing. From facial features resembling male genitilia to prayers of cervical cancer for the opponent, the dialogue is second to none.

d. Last but not least, departing speeches from the victors and vanguished tend to be original and from the heart. Victor and her friends, waving her arms and hands in the air, to & fro, remind the vanquished of their noble upbringing, family wealth, and invincibilty (and sometimes a whole gang of uncles, brothers and cousins who'd beat up the uncles, brother and cousins of the losing side) where as vanquished with tears in her eyes, choking on emotions raising hue & cry to the heavens and praying to the lord for justice. Such drama.

There are benchmarks.

Average IQ = 100, know yue basic math, sin 90=1, cos 0=1, newton's laws of gravity, K= pottasium and Na = sodium, basic english grammar : no dangling modifiers, no ending sentences with a preposition. some basic knowledgs about politics, economics, and everyday world. Oh, loves John Grisham.

Below average = one standard deviation from the norm which is about 15 IQ points, which is 85. If you talk to someone, you will know. Mostly NASCAR, Beer and chicks. For women, it's non-stop ramblings about inane crap about nada. Voracious reader of junk tabloid magazines sold on impulse buying racks at Wal-mart.

Above Averge = one to two standard deviation UP at 115 and 130, respectively. College degree, master's degree. Knows all the things an average person knows and more. reads Kierkagard, Darwin at the same time. Thinks Adam Smith's "wealth of nations" was a good read. Follows the stock market and knows the basics of futures, derivatives and how they are traded. reads NYT cover to cover. rey's anatomy is a must, even though he/she is not in medical school. Can kick your ass in chess. Jeopardy is at times boring. Extremeley health conscious (some guppans on GS). And avoids cafe like a plague :)
