Regarding the first bit in bold that is not how halal and haram works.. unless something is declared haram we don’t have the right to call it so and so far no-one seems to have been able to provide any clear evidence from the Qur’an that a woman marrying a man ‘of the book’ is absolutely forbidden, only that Muslim men have been given express permission whilst there seems to be no mention of it for our women. Like I said before, I’m not for or against but I do see a problem in terms of the way a lot of ppl are trying to say a complete ‘no’ to it with no Qur’anic verse to back up what they’re saying.

The second bit in bold simply isn’t true, don’t know who told you that..

You said its not true may be its not what you wanted to hear and the best way to satisfy your self is deny it.
For your kind information there is a book written in Arabic called Hayat ai sahaba
It is in there I will give you the page number and refrences.
