I am just talking about Pakistan because I am Pakistani. That is it. Doosra kaanaa ho tou aadmi apni bhi aankh phoR nahi leta. Why cant we fix ourselves without throwing in the excuse ke oh doosre bhi tou aisay hain.
So much nadaangi.
Who is we? Aap ne saare Pakistaniu ka theka liya hua hai? Koi ek banda ghallat kaam karay (whatever that may be) tau atleast I am not responsible or accountable for that. Neither do I feel the need to 'fix' that person.
The reason why I said that it's common elsewhere aswell was not to downplay it or to justify it. I said it because it's a universal trait and not a specific Pakistani trait, and that i what you made it sound like.
Loads of people have stated that “given that he is in Pakistan, he could be doing worse things, so this is nothing” and “at least he’s not out robbing people.” Has it ever occurred to you that maybe the reason things are the way they are in Pakistan is because people set the bar so low and are so complacent about shady practices? Interestingly, it’s always the people who turn a blind eye to shady practices and justify it with “oh, well, that’s common in Pakistan” who are the first to whinge about the state of things in Pakistan.
