Re: Day after Wedding
My fiance's family does the following:
Well this is not really the day after the wedding but on the rukhsati night they usually invite the couple back to the groom's parent's home and the ENTIRE family is there (mom, dad, sisters, brothers, aunts, uncles, cousins). I already know I'm going to be too tired for this!
My fiance also mentioned that they would also want to do a brunch thing the morning after the valima.
I hate to be a party pooper, but to be honest, I think these rasms are a bit much especially if they are the day right after the wedding. Why can't the couple just be left in peace to sleep in? There will be so many other days where they can go over for nashta...I'm not sure why it has to be the day right after the wedding.
