The matter should not even go to court as the police have no evidence against him and there can be no prosecution. If the law gives him the right to carry arms then it also gives him the authority to use it in self defence. It appears that these motorcyclists were armed and following his vehicle. It is also mentioned that they had robbed someone nearby already and that one of them came from a court, hearing the case of as his brothers killing, which makes you wonder about their background.
