Ok so I don’t like Rabia, she doesn’t have the innocence that Bano has and awaiN nakhre dikhaneiN ki koshish kar rahi hai. The falling in the arms scene was a bit over the top, and dialogues between Rabia and Hassan seem forced/unnatural.
Go Bano!! I loved ‘chachi’s’ character, her punjabi accent was perfect.
Haissam did say that they have changed the ending a bit since the whole team thought that the ending of the novel was quite depressing and they wanted to give out a positive message. Let's see what happens next.
thank goodness! the novel ending is way too morbid for tv :/

I believe the novel showed in the end what Pakistan has really become and showed a dejected Hassan. We see every day how our beautiful country is being destroyed by lunatics so it is a good move by the team to show something positive. Otherwise they might get a lot of angry fans jumping at them lol.
Episode 17 is up on youtube. Sanam must win an award for this drama, she's phenomenal. Can't wait for episode 18!
OMG you READ MY MIND!!! What a fantabulously Award Worthy Performance!!
2 more than well deserved awards this year - Mehreen for Daam and Sanam for Dastaan. WOWEEE! Ladies you have impressed me!!
Epi 17 - did someone else find Rabia who is supposedly 19-ish being a little over confident? Also her expressions post-engagement when she meets Hassan were not up to mark. She seemed confused and bewildered whereas she should have been acting shy or coy or blush at the least!! I think she's too much of a model for her to be even an average actress. Sorry Haissam but she is not a good choice for Rabia. And I haven't even read the novel!
The Bano parts were just AMAZING!! They left me emotional and speechless. I wish Pakistan had a memorial similar to a Veteran's Memorial for these women who gave everything for their country.
this week's episode gave me goosebumps..esp when Bano meets Hassan..can't wait to see how the story turns out. Amazing performance by Sanam Baloch, she definitely deserves an award. I just feel like I am part of the drama, it seems SOOOOOOO real.
i literally cried buckets at all the bano scenes... :( she is no more the same bano that hassan remembers and fell in love with and the stark shock on his face when he meets her conveyed that beautifully, even without any words, beautifully done scene by the director! in addition to sanam i must say fawad is also performing brilliantly, very good choice for this role.
22?? But there's nothing much left to cover. It's basically a choice between bano and rabia now, and that's about it.
I guess they are going to show how Bano is treated now in Pakistan and whether her dream of a Islamic country that she and her family gave everything for has actually come true. We'll probably be confronted with some bitter truths along with Bano for instance Rasheeda Khala's reaction in the next episode. :(

yea, i guess so. But they shouldn't prolong it, it will kill the affect and magic of the story.
^^^^ i agree.... i think in the novel too... it was prolonged for no reason!.......... i lost interest after reading that bano's madness was more of insanity then service to her nation.

Yes I think there will be an imp message in next episode, hope Rasheeda Khala comes to her senses and remembers what Bano meant to her sister Surraiya as well as Hassan.
