soooooo one of my toes (my index toe? ..the one next to the big one) is like this weird dark colour.. I only wear nail polish once a month cuz i have to pray so i dont kno what to do.. Ive had this for about like 8 years but its really starting to bother me now because i have nice feet except for this one ugly toe. does any one know what im taking about?

does that toenail rub against your shoes or anything?

you may have a fungus that is causing this nail to turn dark.
speak to your physician.
there are remedies available.

that happened to my big toe after i dropped something hard on it. after a couple of days, a dark spot started appearing and got bigger gradually. after a few months when it still didn't go away, my mom told me to dab it with apple cider vinegar and after 2 weeks of doing that, it was gone! it's very effective for any kind of fungal infection.

I don't think that's a fungus (I could be wrong).. If you had fungus under your nail for 8 years, you probably would've lost the nail by now.. especially if it's black! It would also be painful and brittle.
That being said, I have no idea what it is.. but I also have the same problem with my index toenail.. thick black vertical lines on both side, makes it look like almost the whole nail is black. I've only had it a few months though.. and I've been procrastinating the doctor visit. I will try the Apple Cider Vinegar (even though I don't think it's fungal).. and if that doesn't work.. it's time to see the Doc!
Dark nails can be a cause of clotted blood (under the nail) incase u hurt u're foot, a fungul infection which can be treated by Lamisil (an antibiotic cream). If it's a fungal infection a vinegar and water soak will help.. otherwise see a Podiatrist.
