Dark & Lovely

I think it’s farily established that in general Pakistanis like fair skin (mostly for women). Hence; we have creams like fair & lovely that apparently makes our girls gori.

What I wanted to find out how was how many folks here actually have a preference for DARK skin? and would actually like to tan to make themselves darker? or you could just state that you like fair skin (nothing wrong in that IMO - its a matter of preference).

Its a matter of the overall package, not just the skin tone. For an example, Rihanna and Halle Berry are yummy!

gosh dark skin is HOT. Skin colour has no basis for beauty, tbh if your hot your hot whether your kala kaloota or chitti chamri..

I never went "tanning" but sometimes i will stay out in the sun longer, or brush on some bronzer for a different look but I like my skin the way it is natural as in dont wish to be lighter or darker.

I like my skin...never wanted to be lighter or darker. Alhumdulillah, its all good.

i second that. i feel that as women we should all be proud of what color Allah has given us…lets try NOT to feed the fire when it comes to these pathetic ‘‘demands’’ and ‘‘conditions’’ that many PK men and families put on future rishtas that the girl has to be fair and milk white.

I would not like to be dark. Hubby teases me even if I get a tan - kali kali

Most attractive I think is even skin tone, no matter how dark or light it is.
