dark circles

can anybody tell me which is the best eye cream for really bad dark circles.

Re: dark circles

Lancome Genifique eye cream. Tried and tested.

Re: dark circles

Just put 2 thin slices of nice chilled potato on your eyes for 15 mins. Remove the slices, wash with cold water and apply a light water-based moisturizer. You will see a remarkable improvement in 2 weeks. And ensure to get at least 8 hours of sleep everyday along with a minimum of 4 ltrs of water :)

Re: dark circles

did it really work? i have really bad dark circles. its so expensive:(

Re: dark circles

thanks i will try to do that. i always forget. i do get enough sleep though.:)

Re: dark circles

I know it's a bit expensive but if you compare it with other brands like Dior and YSL it's still cheap. And I have used 3 or 4 brand before trying this one....within first 10 days of using this my circles 80% we're gone. I was using it once a day. You need tiny amount and the jar will last for 6/7 months. Also, if you're over 25 it is time you invest in a good eye cream to avoid lines and puffiness in later years. I can guarantee you it works.

Re: dark circles

How much is it for? And from where did you buy this cream hareem?

Re: dark circles

It's around £40....you can buy it from any departmental store selling Lancôme's products.

Oh I see you're in London....check Debenhams or House of Fraser.

Re: dark circles

Yeah I have just checked debenhams it’s £34 under offer :yahoo: I thought it to be around £95 to £100 that’s why asked you about the price thanks :hugz:

Re: dark circles

I strongly opine that all these so called eye-creams or face-creams can basically give you only a superficial effect and for a little time. Now, even if you use these creams, you need to maintain the result.

The reasons for dark under-eye circles are:
1) Fatigue of the eyes
2) An imbalanced diet which leads to vitamin deficiency
3) Lack of sleep
4) Hereditary factors
5) Too much exposure to sun/computers/TV
6) Poor lighting at your home which kind of strains your eye

You should try to use more natural things when it comes to your body. None of these over the counter creams containing those huge amounts of retinoin, salicylic acid, or other chemicals are good in the long run.

Some of the vegetables in your daily kitchen can help you in a big way in maintaining your skin. They are potatoes, tomatoes, lemons, and cucumber. Using these is definitely a little time consuming compared to over the counter products, but remember that these are perpetually available, you dont have to go out of your way to procure them, and they dont cost a lot of $$$. And, above all, they dont have absolutely any side effects.

The eye area especially has very few sebaceous glands (oil producing glands) and therefore this area cannot retain good moisture. Therefore it is essential for you to ensure that you moisturize this area well by using eye packs, drinking enough water, wearing nice big sun glasses that prevent exposure to sun-rays.

You should also give your temples and your eye area a gentle massage in circular motions using your index and middle finger. This will help in good blood circulation and also in drainage of unwanted fluids from that area.

I know its a long read, but I hope it helps :)

Dnt tha tinggle the eyes ..

Re: dark circles

Re: dark circles

Eating veggies etc etc is good but when you're south asian its natural for most of us to have dark circles under the eyes which grow darker as you grow older.

Re: dark circles

You must use it regularly on clean area for 10-14 days to notice the difference.....took me only a week though.
