What's so daring about that? What's more daring is that lollywood is still releasing films :)
Fret though it doesnt require careful viewing, didnt you notice the wooden planks on which they r posing........with no support on the other side of the 'bridge'!
Surely its nothing short of a miracle that they keep churning mostly gutter quality stuff out every year.....what keeps them goin is probably all the 'fun' that comes with makin movies.......analogically same as making pornos on the west!
Those kinds of bridges are common in many parts of the world. They support are those ropes on the sides.
Butt saheb found a good opportunity to take off his shirt and show off the results of months of gym dues. Good for him. The lady just got to show off a badly tailor'd black skirt and top. Pakistani movies.... ah well!

Ha. By describing that image you summed up pakistani filmmaking! Ugly on the outside, uglier inside.

**Sharukh Khan divorced his wife and got married to Salman Khan.
The two were very happy on their weding and they would like to be known as the new S. Khans. Sharukh’s comments on the weding were that it worked out really well specially for the last name as they don’t have to worry aoubt picking the last name since its the same and they were very happy about it.**
Agreed upon. Most of us are sadly bent on putting our own stuff down.

Exactly!
Pakistani films are so bad it takes a special kind of genius to even conceive them in my book.
how come every1 dis lollywood but not bollywood, both have same story lines
girl + guy meet - fall in love- relative of parents don't approve -leads to parents not approving - the bad guy gets killed- they all live happily :-)
only difference is that Bolly movies are digital
Actually most stuff dished out by Bollywood is equally unoriginal. They just make bad movies a li'l better. Thats all. I have a different perception of both Lollywood and Bollywood stuff. Most Pakistani movies I have seen (and I have seen a lot) was in theaters in Lahore. Most Indian movies I have seen was at home on a VCR/DVD. Big difference! You can't forward anything when you are in a theater.

The only difference is that Bollywood has slightly better production than lollywood films.
it's true - most of bollywood is rehashed Hollywood, Pakistani or South Indy stuff, trust me on that! All they have is tonnes of money, and a more educated workforce, including the actors and the technicians. I cought a glimpse of this Indy movie on telly in which the 'Gibraan' character from the famous Pak drama 'Unkahee' was lifted, dialogue to dialogue, and appearnce wise too.....then there are numerous cases of storylines, songs and whole plots being lifted from the Pak film industry.
And we love all the 'bayhooda' crap in Bollywood. Just a bunch of hypocrites, arent we all?
Well I have recently been watching lots of pakistani old movies, waheed murad ki zamanay ki (I just love his movies ) what I have noticed is that Bollywood have been copying some of lollywoods old movies , even the songs, but noone seemed to have noticed, India has been getting all the credit.
I once listened to a interview of a well known Pakistani singer (my brian can’t point the singer , just yet) saying “humaray liyeh fakhar ki baat hai, if indians are copying is” I was thinking u daft goose, they are making money out of ur songs are getting credit for it , app fakhir kar rahay hai. ![]()
I don't think this is a one-way train. Lollywood copies from Bollywood all the time, and so does Bollywood. Both of them are also copying Hollywood, as the case may be. Point is, you can't really stop it. It is pretty hard to enforce copyright laws across national lines, so even if Bappi Lehri copies a song originally done by Ustaad Salamat Ali Khan, what much can you do? Where will you sue them? International Court of Justice?
Nah! You can point it out and "blah" it, and thats what they do.
Its just the way it is. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Pakistani writers and directors are equally, if not more, guilty of the same thing. As soon as an Indian song becomes popular, we'll have Pakistani movies named after that song. I have lost count of such charba movies.

why is it that in every field Pakistani always tend to be accused the most, e.g sports ball tempering- indo/pak war, film industry, Pakistan just takes what it gets accused of... countries like India are always quick to defend themself, Pakistani's try to act/talk equal, always end up supporting India & dissing pakistan.
Sofina, once you move up from Waheed Murad stuff to the one produced by Lollywood in 90's, then you will understand. Yes, we can close our eyes and constantly rhym "everything is great in Lollywood", but, hand to heart, its not. You can call it dissing or what not. I am not fond of Bollywood movies either, as I find most of them trash as well. If you have to spend 1.5 to 3 hours watching a movie, might as well watch the real thing produced in Hollywood, rather than bad copies, or unreal stories churned out by Indo-Pak.
Now, if you want to talk about television dramas, then its different. I think in dramas, Pakistanis kick some serious butt. I really enjoyed many of these over time, and still enjoy most of them. Not all, mind you, but many times more than Pak movies. They are enjoyable and, for the most part, very decent productions.
