well, I have always wanted to visit that place too. But I have a question for your, why do you think they have more honor than nuns? Not that I agree or disagree with you but I am just curious.

Sarah, ur subject is not correct they are called Dancing girls of Lahore and nor randis or prostitutes!! Dancing is leagal In that place but prostitution is not..
I have seen these life size paintings and met Iqbal Hussain .. he teaches at National College of Arts and has a gallery and studio near Lawrence Garden where I met him few times.. I was amazed that this fellow hails from Hera Mandi and his mother was actually a dancer there.. Iqbal has opened a nice resturant in that area called Cuckoo's Nest..
…i even went to a place in rawalpindi, when i was there a few yearz ago…itz amazing to hear storiez and struggle these ppl are going through…but then itz all a part of life…maybe not our livez but their livez for sure…the perception that these are involved in prostitution is not right…yes a few are but not all…and even these few are very hard to find…
God bless u all…

prostitutes aswell,u can even lokk at it the other way round...
Sarah and Sugar and spice, it’s true that we all have it but it’s not true that we all have it with a few dozen men. For us, one is enough but for them, (as many as they can have)
