All the daughters of the Sheikh in our local mosque were sent to female only ballet classes as they were growing up to teach them gracefulness.. and mA they are all so graceful unlike clumsy old me
I think if it's something you enjoy then in a female only environment it should be fine.. Howeverrr there is a very fine line in maintaining your modesty and haya in certain types of dance.. In our culture dancing has been traditionally associated with prostitution and basically to please men.. That's why it's considered taboo

lol.. no they sound like bongiyaan to someone who knows what a rigorous and physically demanding activity ballet is, which requires plenty of flexibility and strength to do anything fun. can you even do a toe-stand for 10 secs? doubt it. carry on with your bongiyaan though..

Hmmm...I dont understand why you keep showing up and pulling these little stunts. You assume too much and know too little...do you know my activity level or how flexible I am? My history, interests or background? Do you know anything at all about me? No.
Ive already taken some...I can do very basic movements pretty well actually like rond de jambes a terre, plies (grand and demi), releve, etc.
Why dont you just give up and go away? Dont you have anything better to do?

Don't take salsa classes, you have to dance with random men and most of them smell. Really bad.

How can you see someone dancing in bathroom , don't they lock the door ? Suppose they keep the door open , you need some open space to dance , unless they have a ballroom size bathroom.

Guys guys, I'm not saying they go full on board and rock a bhungra or ludee on the bathroom floor. It's more like a little twirling around with your hands up kinda thing they do for fun when they go to the bathrooms to touch up on their lipstick or something. Anyway, wanna know something weirder... that's where majority of hijabis take pictures .

I know in many ways people consider dancing wrong...religously not encouraged.
But what if you just like it? What if you just want to learn different types because you actually like to dance?
Is that considered bad?
