i agree with u fret, the west is safer for a woman to walk down the street, but dont underestimate the number of rapes that go unreported in the west, here in the uk some ppl have stated that as much as 80% of rapes go unreported!! quite alarming that if you think about it, at least with DNA advancements in the past few years conviction rates should improve!
