Just my two cents, Its not true that women walk safely in the Western world. What western world are you living in? If you are from the USA, go check out the stats on women abuse and rape in the USA, you will notice its more than most muslim countries put together.
That does not mean that the Muslim world is perfect and does not have problems, just dont idealize a group of nations which do not deserve to be idealized in this topic.
