Tension gripped two villages in Bihar’s Muzaffarpur district where Dalit women were reportedly denied entry into temples by upper caste men and beaten for protesting the move. Police said they were keeping a watch on Kechkarawe Maniari and Ganni Bhojpur villages.
Around half-a-dozen Dalit women of Kechkarawe Maniari village were injured Saturday when they were reportedly thrashed by upper caste men for protesting against not being allowed to enter the Kali temple. The Dalits, who lodged a police complaint, said the police had taken no action against the aggressors.
At the Ganni Bhojpur village, Dalits filed a police complaint Friday after their women folk were reportedly abused and beaten by upper caste men when they attempted to enter a temple. The district welfare officer has asked for an inquiry into the incident. According to Rupesh, an NGO worker, Dalits are denied entry into Hindu temples regularly across the state but such incidents are hardly reported.

This is shocking!! What the hindus and specially RSS kind do not realize is that the Dalit is likely to get influenced by the equality and brotherhood of Islam and convert, like your forefathers did. Thus, actually increasing the numbers of pakistanis. But you should rejoice, silly billy, you get one more of your ancestor to your fold. Your compassion for the dalit in India just proves that "blood is thicker than water", even after your forefathers conversion to islam from a shudra, pehaps centuries ago, you still have that unexplained bond with your forefathers blood.

Dalit youth beaten for getting educated
(IANS)
30 June 2005
PATNA — A Dalit youth in Bihar was branded a Maoist, beaten and handed over to police by upper caste men in East Champaran district — his fault was he had worn clean clothes and ‘dared’ to enroll himself in a college. Twenty-year-old Premhansh Sah of Koudiya village was beaten by the ‘babus’ or upper caste men of the village who abused him for daring to wear dark glasses and shoes in the village. Police let him off after they found him innocent. Police said Sah’s relatives told them that upper caste men ‘disliked it’ if a Dalit youth wore clean clothes and enrolled for higher education. “My son was disliked by the ‘babus’. They had warned him in the past to discontinue his education or face the consequences,” Sah’s widowed mother told police officials. “Some Dalit youths were forced to leave the village in fear after they had enrolled in college,” said Mahesh Sah, a Dalit.

Hinduism is NOT racist. I’ll show you Brahmins of Dravidian origin, that is dark skinned. Brahmins up in the mountains of Kumaon, Gardhwal and even Nepal have Mongoloid features. Brahmins of Bengal are brown skinned. Brahmins of Maharshtra are super fair. Our Gods Rama, Krishna, Shiva and Vishnu are dark skinned. Our Goddess Kali is dark skinned.
Intolerant? Are you sure? After Partition and all the riots are the minorities not part of the Indian mainstream? Because of Hinduism. Zaoarashrtians and Jews, the much prosecuted people all over the world(Europe and Persia) found refuge here in India. Why? Because of Hindu tolerance.
Vicious? No ways, Hinduism is about a way of life and spirituality is inbuilt in the Hindu. A few individual cases shouldnot be used to malign a whole religion. India is the land where Buddhism, Jainisam and Sikhism were born. If Hindus were so vicious would they allow newer branches to be born? Sant Kabir, Guru Nanak and Sai Baba all tought love and broke long formed religious notions. Hindusism has constantly reinvented itself, with time. It continues to do so. Rigidity is not part of the Hindu mindset.

Heard of the caste system? Sure I’m an Indian and a Hindu, if I don’t know who else knows? Me changed the Vedas? Nope man, not me, I’ve never read them even, and I cannot rtead them cause they are in Sanskrit. Change the truth? I’m a Hindu Punjabi Arora, allright. Now if you were to talk to a Hindu Punjabi Khatri he’ll tell you that Aroras are low caste. They have problems marrying their daughters to Arora boys. Does that efect me, only when it comes to marriage, otherwise Aroras have beaten Khatris in education- Hargoving Khurana won the Nobel proze, Kalpana Chawla did the nation proud. If you are talking about opprotunities low castes have no problems. If you talk about Dalits, they have reservations. hey have active political participtaion. The BSP (Bahujan Samaj Party) has a dalit woman head, Mayawati. She was the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh till Mulayam Singh Yadav overthrew her. In Tamil Nadu Brahmins don’t even get jobs, they have to move out of the state. The recent arrest of the Shankracharya should tell you that Brahmins and upper castes are not having a field day, both politically and economically. A brahmin may call me a low caste(they never do), he may not eat with me(that also rarely happens) but I care two hoots, he’s a damned priest and he’s supposed to do the rituals, that’s it, if a Brahmin acts funny with me(caste wise) I’ll kick him HARD!!! So will most Hindus.

The low castes like Dalits have suffered 5000 years of persecution from these Brahmin’s, and continue to be to this day, however much they try to deny it.
