Do you or do you not appear before your Lord in prayer as though you can see Him not? If you do then you are practicing Tassawuf without realising it.
salat and Ibadah in Islam is only for Lord, Salat has been defined by the Messenger of Allah all Mighty and so does the ibadah, Islam is not a Religion yet it is a system, and every act you do in the SYSTEMATIC MANNER is considered Ibadah, whereas, sufism or what most of the people know as tasawuf is denial of the system(atleast by act), as per my info apart from some most of the Sufi deny the System of Islam and created there very own.
As far as my Tassawuf is concerned, if i re-call correct there is a Hadees which has word and meanings like " My umma's tassawuf is to be in the mosque before the prayer time" .
