Re: Daesh/ISIS in Pakistan
I didn't say you've suggested it. I've said it's being suggested in the news, on social media, etc.

Re: Daesh/ISIS in Pakistan
i just heard on the Pakistani news that an official of the AfGhani government has said that 50-60% of Daesh's leadership has come from pakistan...this statement comes a day after the condemnation by the AfGhani government of the blasts in Quetta in which 15 security personnels perished.

suggested on media by some muslims that quran should be rewritten? i really doubt it. this is against our fundamental beliefs. no single word in quran can be changed or altered. PERIOD. not even a dot. every muslim knows it. if someone wants to rewrite quran, i think he is no more a muslim and will be a murtid who needs to be murdered per islaimc laws.
i think you are getting confused with the demand of redefining interpretation of quranic verses (what we call tafseeer quran). tafseer of quran is written by hundreds of scholars and some are very radicalized.

the verses still exist and are extensively used against Islam, even by players like ISIS etc.

^ please let us know which verses are you talking about?
Re: Daesh/ISIS in Pakistan
Those verses came down when the early Muslims were cornered in Madinah and it was either fight or die. There were no other towns willing to shelter the group. So yes, any group of people has a right to defend themselves. The enemy in that situation happened to be infidels. It was those particular polytheists the commands of war are directed to. Doesn't refer to ever non-believer for all of time.
This is what I mean when I say these 22 year olds have poor comprehension skills in reading.
