** DAAM **

Re: ** DAAM **

Guess what -- Junaid will divorce Fiza, and (surprise!) Fiza will understand (after all, the real b*tch is Maleeha, Fiza is just built that way, and she knows it), and Yasir will not divorce Maleeha -- though Junaid will find out what Maleeha has been up to, and the story will end on a life-will-go-on kind of a note. Sounds very Mehreen Jabbar.

Re: ** DAAM **

Umera did say that the last episode would be a fairly sensible ending for everyone in the sense that "what goes around comes around".
Let's see - 3 more days to go!

Re: ** DAAM **

Junaid should divorce Fizza, not because he's in 'love' with Zara, but because he's in a failed marriage and both of them are miserable. Personally I am not rooting for Junaid marrying Zara. Their relationship was cute in an eastern way, with her being shy and it being restricted to the phone. But there didn't seem to be a lot of depth to it. Given that both of them have fairly matured over the past 7 years, I would be very surprised if instead of recognizing their adolescent relationship for what it was and reminiscing about it fondly, they jump right back into it.

Re: ** DAAM **

^^ I disagree. The Junaid-Zara bond was fairly deep, and you can gauge that by the fact that Zara lived with it for 7 years, without considering marriage. The feelings were rekindled when they met again in the mall, but Zara's been so badly bi*ched by Maleeha that she is kind of disgusted by the whole deal with Junaid, in a way. Also, they were certainly not adolescents when they fell in love, and from the previous episodes you can make out that it was Junaid who initiated the relationship and he was the one who was always in love with Zara -- if it weren't for him, nothing would have happened. Perhaps that's the reason Zara never told anything to Maleeha, something which should have been better taken care of by the script (it still seems to me like a plot hole -- more like a plot crater actually -- the whole "jhijhak" explanation by Zara notwithstanding). And they killed Mano, I mean wtf lol....but on the whole, this is probably as good as Pakistani television can get. Looking forward to the last episode def.

Re: ** DAAM **

A few things that bother me in last 2 episodes...

the ladies coming back from uk/usa wont take Dupatta at all.... I mean they had been living with eastern dress code for a long time... even Fareed's sister didnt look very modern when she comes at rishta.. but Asma looks totally different now. Zara visiting her old house, still weraing her white kurta though she knew the locality.... i mean it was, to me, not-so-mehreen-style.

Wasted so many scenes on Mamoo... been enough watching the his evilself.... (it was funny when Asma says 'Maamoo aap thakte nahin hein nekiyan karte karte?' hehehe.. )

Why Asma never showed any feelings for Maano...? /

Good thing...
Zara! She is not as sad for junaid now (been 7 years and it looks like a long time) and also her crying for Maano! Maleeha and Fiza both have acted very well.....!!!

Re: ** DAAM **

^^ Some people do get over things/people faster than other hence Aasma not showing feelings for Maano. Although she does say I miss her too but we have to understand she has her own kids, life of her own plus she was never shown very close to Maano when she was alive. Zara was the one who always took care of her.

I completely agree with everyone about Maano's death. If not showing how she died at least the sister could've talked about it.. like maybe she got into an accident... maybe she killed herself.. something to let the viewers know how she died.

The whole dupatta issue isn't big at all to me. There are people who are from low class that go abroad and become somewhat modern in their dressing. After living such a long time in the UK, there has to be some sorta change in their dressing or behavior. Its not always true but lets assume in their case it was like that. Not a big deal at all.

Re: ** DAAM **

^lol........cantttttt waittttt to see last epiiii :)

Re: ** DAAM **

1 day to go...i'm just wondering if this is going to be a reservoir dogs type of ending, with everyone divorcing everyone (substitute guns with the D word)?

Also -- will Mehreen Jabbar come up with her director's cut DVD for this serial, which sticks to the original script and takes out all the extraneous material?

Re: ** DAAM **

Wow last episode going to be a memorable one. It's a relief to see the newer Pakistani dramas being finished sensibly, usually it's either a vague ending or multiple death and destruction (I've even seen comedy dramas follow this rule!).

Re: ** DAAM **

OMG i cant wait

Re: ** DAAM **

Great Acting by Sanam Baloch & Amina Shaikh. There reunion after 7 years was very moving and natural. Good work Mehreen.

Re: ** DAAM **

Re: ** DAAM **

is there any other drama she doing?

Re: ** DAAM **

What are the repeat timings for Pakistan?

Re: ** DAAM **

Great Ending ,all the team acted really well:k: the ending is very relistic.good that zara married the other guy.and i can bet fiza didnt learn a thing and you know what the couple misunderstanding will do effects on kids.junaid will never forget zara, and he will never forgive maleeha, nor will love fiza, thats the tragedy.but jis ka borra soocha tha maleeha nai she is happy . thats the good part.

Re: ** DAAM **

************************* SPOILER**********************************
I am very happy with the ending and would've been very disappointed if Zara married Junaid. Zara evolved a lot over the past 7 years, her life got better and she basically moved on. The only closure she needed was for Junaid to know why she left him, which she got in the end.
Junaid and Maleeha on the other hand were very miserable with their lives and were stuck in the past because of that. If Junaid had been happy with his marriage he would've moved on too.
btw I loved the scene between Zara and her sister, especially when Zara reminds her about her bitterness and depression and how that was suffocating. I guess Asma was so self absorbed in her misery that she didn't realize how it had affected her sisters (including Mano)

Anyways BRAVO Mehreen. Loved this drama!!! Please do a director's cut and release this on DVD

Re: ** DAAM **

I love it, fitting end to a great serial, very much in line with my expectations! Petty people always lose out in the end, and Maleeha was the epitome of pettiness. Zara is the clear winner, Maleeha has to bear the guilt for the rest of her life.

One of the best last episodes ever!
