Yeap! We respect all prophets, we just declare their followers as "infidels" and then go about creating terror against them. Thanks to Arab and Iranian lackeys in Pakistan, we have a campaign of terror going on against Pakistani-Christians, Pakistani-Shias, and Pakistani-Ahmadis. Heck we don't even let go of a single Jewish visitor. What do our Maulana Hazrat care about Moses Alaihe Salam, poor Danial Pearl simply got beheaded. Yeah! Every one should learn to "respect" all prophets from "we Muslims".

The silly exampls you gave just dont make any sense but for the heck of it i can also say that you can not possibly know taste of a fruit unless you eat it, no matter how people tell you ,its sweet or sour,you wouldnt know for sure if you like the fruit or not. Or smell of flower,unless you smell it you would'nt know. But thats totally silly coz world does not work this way.
Secondly I honestly do not know what is your stand on the book or movie because there are two ways people are taking it. One group is against too much freedom of speech,and the second group is against the idea presented in it.
I was just saying that muslims who take the later stand are being ignorent of their own religion ,coz its the same idea their quran presented about 1400 years ago about prophet issa.(not a misconception) Quran dismisse any other religious book so bible is not the athourity ,quran say do not mock their gods but it doesnt say that go to the lengths to contradict your own book.
Quran said issa was a prophet, a man . Dan brown wrote same. Quran didnt explain any further about issa so any other research about his life wouldnt contradict the quran or consider as spreding lies . quran say do not mock any prophet , there is not a single word which mocks or disrespect jesus.
An idea that jesus was jew and at that time a young jew who was not married was considered bad ,so it is a huge possibilty that he got married.
Marriage is not considered a bad idea in islam, prohet muhammad married many times ,so this idea from any aspect wouldnt be disrespectful according to islam.

I agree with Bebo. There is NO mocking or character assassination of Hazrat Isa in Da vinci code. People who compare the cartoon saga with this book seem to forget the fact that there was a gross and intentional character assassination in the name of 'freedom of speech'. Why would Muslims be offended, where is the disrespect for Jesus Christ? Have those Muslims who oppose even read the book?
I clearly said that attributing something to the religious people........regardless if they are good or bad is not a good practice.
Some people seem to exaggerate goodness of the Prophet PBUH to even commit a lie.................that is wrong too.
So make your head clearly understand at leat this time LIES or IMAGINATIONS or DREAMS or whateverer attributes NOT MENTIONED EVEN BY ALLAH in his book Quran are WRONG and it means falsifying the character of a person.

Regarding so called freedom of expresiion I have mentione in other thread that it is overrated and no one even you will compeltely follow it.
I mentioned this example to someone on this forum and he is quiet since then on this matter, that If a person calls someone's mother a whore or father a pimp should that person ignore it and say........oh OK....its just freedom of expression and I am glad you exercised your right!.........OR retaliate against the liar!
