So, this is a story about when i went to cynosure in dupatta gali, liberty, lahore for my eid outfit, as i just needed a quick fix, and they are good for casual outfits at affordable prices.
There were already a lot of ppl in the shop, too over-crowded and hey had closed their changing rooms so that noone was able to try on an outfit which they wanted to buy. So, i was checking whether an outfit fits me or not in front of the mirror, and i hear i loud noise, i dont think about it that much, but then i hear someone screaming next to me, and there’s this dead silence in the shop, i turn around and there’s this girl standing at the counter, with her hand to her face and she’s screaming and shouting at the shopkeeper, saying things like, ‘how could u hit me?’ and the guy was shouting back that she was the one who was trying to steal stuff from him,
after that she was crying and screaming a lot bcoz the salesman had slapped her right across the face, bcoz she had directly come to the counter with a dress she had bought the day before and that she wanted to have a size change, but the guy thought that she was sneaking off the dress bcoz it was still in the clothes hanger, to which she replied that she had brought it from her home and it was her own hanger and that all she wanted was a size change, also she showed him the receipt, but he kept saying that 4 dresses from his outlet had gone missing and that she was a thief bcoz she came to the counter and showed the dress, when she was supposed to show it one of the junior salespeople…
all the women (well some) said that the guy was wrong for slapping the girl and that whatever she had done, he shudn’t have slapped her that way…
well, the girl was obviously distraught and went to call her mother from the car , also there was extra police deplolyed right in front of the shop, and they were summoned too. The salesman who had done the deed told everyone to leave the shop, some women were saying they wouldn’t be back to a place like this, and they quickly had everyone get out and shut down the shop…
i dont know about what happened next but i get a bad feeling everytime someone mentions that place, never going back there.
plus their duppattas sucked anyway so, i guess it just turns me off now.
