Cybils Atelier: Review

Re: Cybils Atelier: Review

Hmm I got the same suit but in a different color, the embroidery was not stitched on like that, they could have done it neater

Re: Cybils Atelier: Review

thanks for uploading. Gotta say the Lakhani wala is my favourite :), i've got the same one in blue but i havent got mine yet.

Re: Cybils Atelier: Review

like all the outfits especially the lakhany one...but the white/cremewhite wid the galaah frm sana safinaz...its not attached very neat. i know that the workers/kaarigar take 500rps and more to do applique on that...bcuz its take very much time and its so fuzzy....but however my heart bleeds when spending so much money for fabric and things not done so neat! but thats my personal review others wouldnt care so much maybe...

Re: Cybils Atelier: Review

ok so reading these posts i just went to check my outfit...the fact of the matter is that so many times i looked at it and i never even noticed that it was an applique...so I dunno what u guys are on about that it's not stitched properly or not neat...

Re: Cybils Atelier: Review

loved your other two suits huma, but this one could have done soo much better…the gala work had to be cut out from the fabric and appliqued  we are paying through noses for the SS suits and they ought to be done soo much neater…kapra costs so much that couple hundred rupees wouldn’t matter if it meant neater sticthing…it does look weird to me …but the other two are very nice
I have placed an order with mysti too…I have my fingers crossed…she has been very patient with my unending instructions…but to my defense, it was only 'coz I want everything to be the way I have on my mind and hence I clarified each and every detail so that nothing is left to the tailor’s guessing

Re: Cybils Atelier: Review

@ sara 516: the outfit frm huma...the offwhite one wid red dupatta..the one frm sana safinaz

the embroidery on the neckline it comes extra and the kaarigar/tailor has to cut it very neat out and then applique it by machine...most kaarigars applique it so neat and clean that u even cnt see on first time that it came extra and was attached on the fabric! u can jus see the stitches mostly on the side...thats the only thing...i had one suit and i jus realized it was applique when i went wid my fingers on it...i felt the stitches...but it was done veeeeery neat...

humas's outfit frm SS was not attached clean..the tailor didnt cut it out he jus attached the neckline bcuz i think this didnt take so much time...or maybe not much experience...

Re: Cybils Atelier: Review

its not about the tailor being inexperienced or untidy.. you have to understand that the material that is shown in the pictures tht the designers have attached have the full panel of the kapra with the neckline on it. These ones came pre-cut and were stitched on as neatly as they could have been -
anyhow thanks for the constructive criticism.. will let my cousin know!

Re: Cybils Atelier: Review

Yes mysti, the galas come pre-embroidered on a fabric panel but they are supposed to be cutout neatly along the embroidery and then appliqued by a karhai wala..you can compare the below pics and see what i mean…

the blue one doesn’t have any of the sheer white fabric as in the chocolate brown one…it is all constructive feedback to improve your services

BTW when I am getting my parcel and also can you please send me the tracking number

Re: Cybils Atelier: Review

Really I am suprised to see the tailor didnt even bother to cut off the bits of extra fabric along the side first, it makes such a big difference!!! The two black suits look good but I think the cream really should have been sent back to the tailor, thats not normal

Re: Cybils Atelier: Review

i have finally received my 3 joras from Cybills. I have positive feedback about her. she gave me excellent customer service, replied to my emails, took care of the problems. and the stitching quality was good too.
