Cybils Atelier: Review

Hi all, just thought i’d post up my experience with our very home girl Mysti ie cybils atelier. I ordered three unstitched suits, 2 sana Saf and one Lakhani.
Overall th eprocess was smooth, i paid using paypal which was a great benefit as wESTERN UNION ARE CHARGING SOME SILLY commission fees at the moment. The suits were delivered to my mum in Islamabad.
Thank you Mysti

Re: Cybils Atelier: Review

Re: Cybils Atelier: Review

My experience so far :

I ordered 3 Sana Safinaz outfits and one Sobia Nazir outfit . Payed the full amount ,this was in the last week of March .
After a week i got an email and was told that i was really lucky to have got the SS lawns at the price i payed, because now they are not available at these prices. A few days after this i got another email ,i got the update that she couldnt get all 3 SS prints, but only one. If i was ready to pay an extra amount she could have still got the prints,,but no way i spend that much on lawn.
I was confused about this ,because some days ago she had told me how lucky i was .
She offered me to pick something from the HSY collection , i did,but this print wasnt available .As i was already very upset about the way things were goin i wanted my money for the 2 outfits back and she agreed on that .I kept asking for pics of the other two outfits, because i wanted to see the fabric ,but she said due to loadshedding its very difficult to upload pics.
In this last email i got she told me the other 2 outfits will be stitched after 1 or 2 days.
But now again this did not happen :( I emailed her again and asked about pics of the outfits as it had been almost a week.
She told me in her next email that a family member had been diagnosed with cancer ,thats why she wasnt home all weekend and that she will update me by tomorrow .I replied her that i am very sorry ,but that she had told me herself that the outfits will be ready after 1 or 2 days thats why i was asking her.
The next email she wrote me :
Hanji.. but with everything going on and having to constantly move around its been a little bit of an ordeal. Insha'Allah once I have time to get my head straight I will get everything for u

i dont understand what she means by saying she will get everthing for me ?
So far this has been the worst experience i had :(
In the past i have ordered from Prototype ( i think all together 20 outfits ), Sairaji and Alizay. Never had any problems.

Re: Cybils Atelier: Review

@sara : After you placed the order, how many weeks did it take until the outfits were shipped ?

Re: Cybils Atelier: Review

Ainii: Firstly, like I wrote in the email. We have been nothing but honest. The prints u wanted weren't available - and its LAWN not formals where we can buy the material from anywhere, theres specific exhibitions we have to pick it up from and on top of tht we've gone through all of ISB/PINDI. The issue was that when we got the SS the prints sold to us at the exhibition were bleeding color when we pre-shrunk them, so the next day we took them back but there werent any left. We tried our best to find substitutes but due to the rise in prices, and you not wanting to pay them we told you that we will refund you. The HSY exhibition prints were exclusive and not released ANYWHRE in pakistan. Your welcome to ask anyone who went to the exhibition as we had people in ISb/LHR/KHI buying for us. I had mailed you to let me know your choices ASAP, and you decided on 2 separate outfits. This was the day of the exhibition and I had to make tonz of calls to make sure we got the suits from there so tht we didnt lose your business. The next day when I checked my email your order had changed. So really thats not our fault. You were indecisive and you could have mentioned that before you confirmed your order for the HSy prints.
Anyhow, we have no shipping address for you and thats what the hold up was for the last 2 days. My email to you should have been tht the mail out will be in one or 2 days not the stitching - sorry for the miscommunication.
As far as pictures are concerned, we are trying to better the system in that regard. We've only JUST started out, and having been an avid GS buyer, I never got pics of my outfits before I received them.. and most of my outfits were through Prototype! I never mailed her once about them either because I knew that with the situation in Pakistan with respect to the loadshedding and poor internet services it can be really hard to get one or 2 pictures uploaded on a dialup connection -

Sara's order had been placed in the mid of March, her outfits have been shipped via DHL - we have another few orders ready to be mailed out in the next few days :)

Also, you cant blame any vendor buying clothes for you when your asking for lawn prints. I myself asked for 5 SS and only got 3 suits, but tht doesnt mean I start penalizing the other person, all in all they tried their best and you have to give them atleast tht much credit for it.

Re: Cybils Atelier: Review

But i think one should commit what they can deliver. This is my personal opinion. No offence plz !!!!

Re: Cybils Atelier: Review

@ Mysti : I have sent you my adress a week ago and you know this very well, i sent it along with the details of my contact in Pakistan. You have never asked me for my adress and you emailed me yesterday that the clothes are ready ,you did not tell me earlier.
Im not blaming you for not getting hold of the prints i wanted, but im not okay with your way of communicating and keeping a customer informed.
It doesnt make sense that you first told me how lucky i was to get the SS prints for the price i payed and a few days later you tell me sorry, but we only got 1 and we can get hold of the others if you pay more.
About the HSY,you wrote me to get back to you within an hour,i was waiting for your reply for 2 hrs,but did not get any!
Anyways,it seems like everyone else had a good experience and got what they wanted

Re: Cybils Atelier: Review

I have an order of mine pending with mysi and she has been great so far...very prompt with her replies and her stitching charges have been very resonable....
I cant wait to get my stuff, hope the stitching is great too...
one piece of my advise for her would be to provide the buyer with the pics of the stitched suit before dispatching, as any corrections (if needed) can be made if something goes amiss...whereas it wont be the case if the suit is sent overseas and the buyer finds about the errors after receiving(which can have a great negative impact)...I have ordered from multiple vendors and except for one I was always sent pics and that gave me a sense of satisfaction that everything was fine. Also from a buyer's perspective it is better to see the stuff in the pics and have anything that needs any corrections be corrected rather than receive suits with errors after all the money spent, excitement and a long wait, when they are expecting only all good things...This would only enhance your customer service:)

Re: Cybils Atelier: Review

Well I agree.. however starting out a business in lawn fever can be a little harsh for vendors.

Re: Cybils Atelier: Review

I totally agree.. pics should be here for everyone by Friday. I gave my cousin HELL for it so yes, it will be arranged for"

Re: Cybils Atelier: Review

I ordered a Sana Safinaz (the one that brummie has) and 3 lakhanis/zunns.

reasonable prices, mysti was wonderful to work with, and the fitting was fine.

Im kinda not comfortable posting the pix here but if anybody wantts to see ill be happy to Pm them :)

Re: Cybils Atelier: Review

I have never ordered from Mysti, but have from a few other vendors on GS, and just a peice of advice to you all, please communicate, nothing is more frustrating that not being kept informed of progress or non progress for that matter. its really annoying, one vendor i dealt with, I even had to email her to ask if she had recieved her money:smack2:

Re: Cybils Atelier: Review

please PM me :)

Re: Cybils Atelier: Review

:bummer: yeh shikayat tau mujh se bhi hogi subko :bummer: but then there are many customers who still have to send money for orders that reached them weeks ago and I have to keep reminding them about money !!
