Re: Cross examination of posters.
You can't come and blame people for opinions. I think people who post personal problems are looking for a broader perspective. At the end of the day they take what they want from the discussions and move on

Re: Cross examination of posters.
do i contribute? yes
how i contribute? totally different question
you opened a totally different topic for discussion. maybe you can start another thread and we can talk about it there. lets not completely derail this thread
but simply put when you dont know what to do and you ask for advice and you act upon that advice, you are basing your action on the trust of that people and honestly of that advice - when things go wrong in this particular case 2 blames come out -1 why did you give me the wrong advice 2- why in the world did i listen to him - remember this is when you dont know what to do in a situation and someone who knows tells you what to do -
looking for opinions is a totally different matter
of course I know....I can read your posts.....they are your contribution to the discussion.
Just the fact that you think people should be able to "blame" someone for their own actions shows that there is a flaw in your thinking.
Re: Cross examination of posters.
so you are agreeing with me? if i am seeking genuine advice i should disregard your advice because it has a bunch of maybe in it, right? hence most of the advices/posts will be discredited in regards to this post of yours, you said im emotional not thinking through etc. you dont know if im my boxes, or in my suite at work or im not illterally or phd, or if im a happy man or a sad man. you put some assumptions about me which i know are wrong so how can i give your post any regard
No I do not agree you at all and yes I do not know anything about you.
Re: Cross examination of posters.
Yes, and I think one or two members here probably have some sort of personality disorder, some real attention seeking tendencies and real life issues which they try to escape by coming here and being what they perhaps always anted to be in real life.
Re: Cross examination of posters.
and how do you determine this "majority"?
IMO it is majority - if you want numbers just for humor i cooked up some numbers: LOL
[TABLE="width: 691"]
superficial math
total 100%
incomplete info on topic 50.00% 50%
lack of knowledge of repliers 25.00% 50%
lack of experience of repliers (even if they have knowledge) 12.50% 50%
lack of thought (literally thinking about it for 2 sec not counting the time to type the response) 6.25% 50%
biaseness 5.00% 20%
corrupted state of mind 4.75% 5%
95.2500%
Just because you don't agree iwth most of the advice here doesn't mean that the person responding is lacking in experience or thoughtless and biased.
When you bring in #s, your opinion ceases to be merely an opinion
innocent until proven guilty - that is your philosophy thats fine. but its not my philosophy. IMO the job must be done right - you ask at GS should i divorce or not, ppl stay divorce him/her based on the 6 points. and you literally divorce - but then later when find out **** you sshoulnt have divoced, who are you gonna blame now. all the posters here? if you ask them would you take the blame they say hell no, use my advice on your own risk, now you tell me all this problems ppl and advices are genuinely honest and workable i say hell no
Have u even met anyone whose gotten divorced?
Have you ever met anybody whose gotten divorced based on the suggestions of members here?
Yes, and I think one or two members here probably have some sort of personality disorder, some real attention seeking tendencies and real life issues which they try to escape by coming here and being what they perhaps always anted to be in real life.
One or two.....doesn't speak for the vast majority of posters.
Re: Cross examination of posters.
.
Can you name some of them ? That will help me stay away from threads of those fakers. ![]()
P.S I am mad at those faker not you, Jolie.
Re: Cross examination of posters.
oh and by the way...it really really really really really really sucks when you reveal private/personal stuff and someone calls you a liar :)
And to answer the question, is there really something wrong in giving someone benefit of the dobut? even if you don't believe it....why not just stay quiet and mind your business?

Re: Cross examination of posters.
too late thrill over (for me) an interesting thing though
what are you trying to say? opinion is an opinion, what does it mean by opinion ceasing to be merely an opnion?

Why not ? That will make this thread more interesting and worth revisiting.
P.S: Do that at your own risk though, I will not be held responsible for any reaction you get from those posters and mods of this forum. :D. I just want to get you in trouble and looking for some mirch masala.
Re: Cross examination of posters.
