You guys r right, there is no comparison btw NYC and Pak. A woman isn't expcted to commit suicide if she's been raped; a sad conclusion as such is the exception, not the norm. Her family izzat isn't gone (and plz, no BS about how families haev no izzat or honor here). She is encouraged to report the crime and not stay quiet. Too conservative isn't good.
