Cricket World Cup 2003 - Final Squads

So guys its just one more day to go (as per EST) in a deadline for announcing the squads for WC and most of the boards are following “eleventh hour” rule to announce their squads and that doing nothing else but making butterflies in my stomach (aap logoon k stomach meen bhee hoon gee).

Note : being a human ho sakta hay k i m missing some squad that has already been announced then dont point finger instead post the squad and i’ll update my post

Thank you

Frankly, i m surprised to see Laxman and Alistair Campbell not making thier respective squads. Anyways Tomorrow Pakistan’s squad will be announced. Hope sanity prevails there and they bring Saeed back :k:

and i guess 75% of the selection for ganguly is because of the fact that he is a captain else his 2002 performance does not automatically selects him in the squad.

yep, well ppl will say that Waqar has almos the same case but after all, Waqar was the second highest wicket-taker whole year :k:

If you are talking about TEST matches then YES gangulay doesnt deserve a place. But when it comes to Onedayers he has been the one of most sucessful batsman in this year scoring more than 1100 run in 2002.Better than trescothik,Sachin,Sehwag,Hayden,Ponting,ALU etc.Very few players who has done better than him this year in ODIs .the names which come to my mind are Kallis,Gibbs and Youhana(thanks to Zimbabwe trip).
So his performance of 2002 is one of the best this year.Obviously you are not looking beyond this NZL series thats why you couldnot see it.

Ok my mistake my comments were based on a statusgru search and i entered search criteria for year 2002 and it was showing the average of 21 in 9 matches. Now i searched it again with specific dates from 1st Jan to 29th Dec and average came out to be 38.41. So ganguly you are good to go, i OK you :)

Ganguly Khush hua . :rotfl:

I happened to be watching that last NZ match and the guy didn’t even have a clue about managing time. It cost India a 2 over penalty. At least use your brain if your bat don’t work. :hehe:
