Re: Crescent Bay finaly ready to launch a $3 billion project
i think you have a problem with reading or i guess your just another little child with illogical thoughts
'lets hold an election, its democracy dude, wee hee'
yee baby, we need democracy and election is the only way, i want to go back in to the golden 90 periods were democracy was at its best.
again like i said due your research before talking, it makes you look rather weird.
chief minister problems were with bundle island project to do with ownership, this is creasant bay which only the court had a problem with, and even if cm had a problem with bundle island, it wasnt called of because of him it was called off because of supreme court,
please do some research instead of making things up, you seem desperate to protect a thief justice, are you related to him?
now on to people who get affected by these projects, well it looks like you dnt have any senses at all, please use some common sense.
firstly dnt compare pakistan to developed countrys, pakistan is a developing country and it has a world of difference compared to a developed country.
what would happen if there were some poultry farmers in the heart of london or in manhattan?
if you had some senses you would know they would be moved and relocated out as that is the main business area and most expensive land of the city which generate enourmous economic activity.
same thing was happening to bundle island, it has pottenial to generate enourmous economic activity, so fishermen were being located and land to be used for better uses.
its time we take decisions in interest of pakistan and not about personal interested first, overwise people like you and thief justice will make sure pakistan goes no where, and thats exactly what thief justice was trying to do, again you seem to be desperate to defend thief justice.
again on steel mills you have no knoldage and need to do some research again, you sound like nawaz shirffs sideman.
like i said, steel mills decison by shukat aziz was A BRILLANT BUSINESS MOVE, i have pointed out the obvious in my previous post but you seem to be finding it hard to understand it, its common business sense what was happening to it, it was never given away at a throwaway price, cos its actual value shown by the gov, wasnt its actual value, but its value with its tons of loans put on it but its actualy its a failed mill and gov. was gona earn money for free.now liek i said it will be bankrupted in the next few years and gov. will have to repay all loans from your tax money which would go in $100s of millions
did you even know this steel mill was in such a terrible state and completly bankrupt before musharraf came then it was gona be privatized for $1, but shukat aziz the sane business man thought of a great business trick to generate money for pakistan but thief justice hardly gives a crap about pakistan.
and we all know that buildings are made cheaply in pakistan whichout engineering professionals, thanks for pointing out the obvious, but that doesnt mean you put a ban on every construction site. there are other methods for it, DO YOU EVEN HAVE A CLUE HOW MANY JOBS WERE LOST BECAUSE OF THIS, it goes in MILLIONS.
it was nothing but idiot thief justice wanting to torture pakistan, once again you seem to be desperate to defend thief justice.
you seem like a blind hater of mush and will come out with the most batest of excuses, and your desperation to defend thief justice is shown
First of all, you are very rude.. Add that to your lack of insight or common sense and that makes you look completely weird. NOW CALM DOWN AND READ! IF YOU WANT TO DEBATE THIS, THEN ACT LIKE A HUMAN BEING.
The Golden 90's period was a queer period in our history but that doesnt mean you abandon the democratic path altogether... For one thing, the Military was still the one calling the shots... No govt was ever allowed to finish its term and thus we really cant judge. Ultimately, if the system was flawed, then its up to the electorate to decide who should or should not be in power, not this two bit dictator Musharaf.
Again, readl.. I DID NOT SAY THAT THE CM HAD A PROBLEM WITH BUNDLE ISLAND!!!!
I cited to CM to make the point that its not only the Chief Justice who was behind the cancelation or delay in projects as the Reza was trying to imply... You for some reason dont get this simple point...
Your blinded by the obsesive need to support you dictator general cum president, even at the exppense of common sense. Are you related to the dictator?
Whether developed oor not, Pakistani people STILL HAVE RIGHTS... You dictator lovers obviously dont respect those rights unless its you who are being lathi charged I suppose. Pakistan may not be a developed country, but that doesnt mean we fail to emulate the good things within those societies... We dont kick people of their land, and allow them to be exploited... The CJ atleast understood that simple point... Pakistan was not made to allow ruthless people run the poor into the dirt.
If there were poultry farmers in Manhattan, they would have the recourse of being able to take their complaints to the COURTS... YOU dont understand that? If the COURTS judge that these people must move then they must move. If the courts think these people have a valid case, then they must be taken into consideration.. WITHOUT INDEPENDANT COURTS IN PAKISTAN, A POULTRY FARMER COULD NEVER HAVE HIS CASE HEARD AND, AS WITH THE FISHERMEN, HE WOULD BE KICKED OF HIS LAND... There is a case of imminenet domain in Brooklyn Ny that you could study.. In it, at stake is a billion dollar project, and whats standing in the way is the objection from residents.. The process is trudging along slowly but only after countless hearings...
Again, your lost in your obsesive need for investment and appeasing your dictator.
This is not about the CJ in particular, but what he represents... Freedom from dictatorship and the rule of law which is something you dont believe in.
Yes I know how bad the steel mills were doing.. But again, YOU missed the point... In a democracy, any sort of privitization would be discussed with all... The opposition would be involved and the process would be COMPLETELY transparent. Its NOT a case of whether its was a brilliant deal or not, but rather, whether it was done in a transparent manner the way it should have been... The CJ stepped in to stop an obviously corrupt sale of a state asset. The court has EVERY right to take this action as it is an indepenadant arm of the govt which is tasked to oversee the other branches...
And I dont think you understand how screwed up construction and engineering is in Pakistan... Yo claim to, but your lost.
The Buildings you are talking about HAD to be stopped to prevent them from flouting construction laws because they were probably ALL flouting these laws... Not to stop them would make it impossible to control the problem. Its like your in a room full of appliances that are going crazy.. The best way to stop them is to turn the electricity out on all appliances.. Its really common sense, but doesnt seem that common in your case. Ultimately, the engineers and investors, if Pakistan were a functional country, would be able to take the case to the courts themselves... This is how things normaly work.. Ultimately, the case would have gone to the Supreme court to decide... If the investors and engineers are in the right, then well and good, but if not, they would be told to offer guarantees that their work is up to par and they would be allowed to continue..
Now you lack the understanding of democracy and rule of law... The system is slow and imperfect, but it guarantees that people like Musharaf dont come in and abuse their powers as our dictator has... The system of courts guarantees that all people have access to justice and a fair hearing...
If there is a problem with the Courts, its up to the National ASSEMBLY to debate and to fix those problems. The problem with Pakistan is that ALL power is concentrated with the executive.. There is no balance in the system, so Musharaf can call and emergency, sack all the judges, ban the media, arrest innocent people, and do whatever he feels because there is no check on his powers... That is why he is a dictator and why we need a stron judiciary to prevent dictatorship...
You seem to lack an understanding of the basics of democracy... And unfortunately, your not alone, as people like Musharaf the dictator and other cronies also lack this understaning.
