Well different sites will make different claims, but for me personally in summers a daytime look with all black is a bit much. Although I love black.

for summer .................... instead of a black jacket - try a teal jacket/accesories or a white jacket, white sandals instead.

I would change the shoes. Maybe get some vibrant colored sandals, either yellow or orange. And then maybe get the necklace or bracelet to match with the sandals. Rest is good!

I don’t know Hadi…may be girls in their early 20s can get away with colourful sandals and cardis…I know I can’t.

Pastels for summer is pretty obvious...I had to keep the new trends in mind too (safari and black).

I would pair this with a hot pink or orange cardigan and similar colour sandals to give it the vibrant summery feel !

Oh gosh,t hat is such an antiquated idea! Just cz your’e a little older doesn’t mean you have to wear dead colors
Sorry I’m just mad cz then it means I can’t wear my favorite yellows and pinks and reds and oranges.

Okay before I start to sound like an opinionated person I’d like to clarify that I like some suggestions/ideas but some of the ideas are a bit errmmm…they’re good too but I can’t picture them very well in my mind.

I like bright colours but I just can’t imagine wearing them over/with zebra print unless I plan to go retro.
Bright pink with zebra print reminds me of Playboy. :bummer:
They use this theme/combo quite often, sadly.
Okay about flatforms being hideous, well they aren’t graceful/elegant but I gave first priority to comfort factor. I’ve seen women walking in stilettos funnily too. But yeah if I’m wearing it in the evening I will definitely wear some thing elegant.
Stoppit, those sandals are gorgeous and they will look good with a plain black maxi dress, IMHO.
