To be honest I dont understand the phenomena behind so many dholkis 2-3 months in advance. Some people have done it in my family and most of these weddings have ended up with divorce. Personally, I wouldn’t want to get a bit carried away with the 3 month in advance dholkis and stuff. A mehndi, nikkah, wedding and reception should be enough. I’d rather have an extravagant mehndi,wedding and reception compared to 3 months of silly meaningless parties.
