Chicken brain, kidney, and other stuff mixed up. Was a ‘‘mystery dish’’ at a restaurant and it was only after eating it I discovered what it was.

Foie gras- didn’t care for it
Oysters on the half shell (yes, raw!)- not bad
Chocolate covered ants- nasty, just because I new exactly what it was
Bison Burger- was pretty good!

How was the texture of the oysters? We have an oyster fest here every year and I’ve always been curious but have never tried them!

Honestly, the texture of raw oysters is pretty much akin to a big luggi/chunk of phlegm…but it’s a wonderful briny, salty, sea water taste…definitely is acquired but I enjoyed it! It’s not meant to be chewed raw…you just down it/swallow it really fast lol
And yea…the chocolate covered ants was a stupid dare/bet during my college days

pretty much every part of le goat from hoof to head, brains, balls.
curried fresh-shot monkey - from tree to plate in under 2 hours - velcum to india
raw enormous shrimp head to tail - pull the head off, suck the sweet tomalley, crunch on everything else
asian buffalo - common streetfood in kerala with “porota”/paratha, spiced up so good
american bison - pretty easy to find in the US as a lean beef substitute
wild boar ribs, rattlesnake sausage - road trip thru utah, roadside eatery specializing in locally hunted meats

Oysters…they are exactly as khatti described…but i love em..little hot sauce, litle lemon…delish.
Octopus…not really crazy. But also amazing.
