^ ok, let me revise that and specify what kind of doc to go see- probably the best are a nutritionist or a naturopath, they will be able to guide you better, and more towards healthy, clean-eating habits and yes, even organic supplements. and yes, its a long term solution. it takes time to change eating and working out habits. and so i'm cautioning teelo not to jump head first into something without checking with a professional first.

i mean, the bottom line is: no crash diet is good for you... you might lose the weight immediately, but it will come back. this is something that has been proven time and time again in many different studies, with diets, drugs, and organics/herbals. unless you change the way you eat and incorporate exercise into your lifestyle, you cannot maintain any reasonable amount of weight loss.
ultimately, of course everyone here will do what they want. i just personally disagree with the notion that there is an easy way out and so i have a problem with most of the posts in this thread that state theres some tea or tablet or potion that worked for one person, therefore its fantastic for all and everyone should go out and try it right now and there is no hint of consequences or side-effects mentioned. i dont think you can make a statement like "this diet is 100% safe". you only have your own personal experience to back up that statement... it takes into no account lifestyle or dietary habits or a million other variables in different people, and therefore it has the potential to be misleading and possibly dangerous... who knows? are there studies based on this diet? any more research available? whats it called? maybe you and your sisters share a particular gene that makes it more effective. its hard to say.
and fyi, organic/herbal product companies are just as much out to make money as doctors and pharmaceuticals. they're businesses- that is their primary purpose. and by buying those products, you're supporting them as much as if you were buying some magic weight loss drug from a pharmaceutical :)

Why don't you look it up and see? There's so much to it that it won't fit in one post. I just know I would rather be healthy than feed my body with toxins and when something goes wrong down there, I go line up at the doctor's clinic around the corner. No thank you. I had been a junk food eater all my life. Organic food has turned my life around. I am healthier and I no longer have benign polyps in my colon (too much information, I know). Organic apple cider vinegar is a lifetime change, honey. Once you start drinking it, you will feel it. There are so many benefits, I can't begin to tell you. Go look it up. Like I said before, it's not a mere weight loss remedy, there are other health benefits. People who have been drinking it for years haven't fallen sick as much.
It can't possibly be as dangerous as those drugs doctors prescribe. Yeah, even Tylenol. :)

Once you start drinking it, you will feel it. There are so many benefits, I can't begin to tell you. Go look it up. Like I said before, it's not a mere weight loss remedy, there are other health benefits. People who have been drinking it for years haven't fallen sick as much.
im not arguing against organic food- i think organic food is good, for sure. who wants to eat genetically engineered stuff anyway? :) i'm just a bit skeptical about miracle diets/cures/solutions for losing weight....

Are the enzyme pills safe..I mean yeh organic hain...ya kia?? I drink loads of green tea...but pills scare me...some info about these enzyme pills would be great...thanks

Well, if you really want a doctor's opinion on this, you might as well just lay out a plan for another 10 months to lose weight and then spend a few hundred dollars for follow-ups with the doctor. Doctors, FDA, and frauds like phamacueticals will never approve of this diet...come on, it's all organic...how are they gonna make money then? Doctors are expert in drugs, they don't care about herbal remedies and organic stuff.

losing 10 lbs in two weeks is not healthy and it is not recommanded by docs anywhere.. Healthy weight loss limit is about 8 lbs a month...
btw even if u loose 10lbs in a short period of time then it will be a temperory loss..... and fat will ride your butts and handles before u buy new size clothes....
key is ... "patience"...

well the key to losing weight is to keep up your metabolism throughout the day... so eating 6 small meals a day is a lot better than eating 3 large ones... just keep snacking on healthy stuff! some yogurt, some berries, a handful of almonds, etc.
but this diet does recommend a lot of food...
also i've never heard of a diet that allows pasta!

You dont need crash diets. Eat your regular foods. Have breakfast at 7. Lunch at noon and dinner at 7 and do not eat anything till next breakfast.
For snacks inbetween load up on green vegetables like broccoli, beans, celery etc (try em with ranch dressing.. very delish). Also eat cantelopes (sp?). Celery, cantelopes etc are known negative calorie foods, i.e. the body uses more calories to digest em than the calories those foods supply. Look up a list of negative calorie veges and fruits and load up on em.
Soon after both lunch and dinner go for a 30 min walk (or 1 hour depending on how much time you have) OR go for a 30 min run. If you eat a heavy breakfast go for a walk after the breakfast too. The idea is to burn whatever you eat as soon as possible so it doesnt get time to settle down as fat.
NO soda, no chocolates, nothing else. If you do this for 14 days, you will lose atleast 8 lbs for sure. Do this for a month and 15 lbs is no problem. And this is from personal experience

Well, for fast I tried weight watchers and lost 4.5 lbs in a week. Otherwise, try walking a lot, morning and evening or wear a pedometer and count 10,000 steps everyday. I lost 10 lbs on my own in a month that way, besides of course watching what I ate. Don’t do that maple syrup diet. It sounds like bad news!!
you’re retarded crash dieting is very dangerous why didn’t you just get off our ass sooner and hit the gym, i can’t stand lazy people that want quick solutions to their problems! john malcovich or however you spell that actor’s name did a jello only diet for a month to drop weight and a girl on true life (mtv’s show) did a cottage cheese diet but both ways you are just slowing down your metabolism by starving yourself and not eating balanced meals. why not just cut out processed sugars, reduce your sodium intake, and up your cardio by at least 3 hours of running or jogging a week?
Get off any rice,roti,pasta. Don't eat sweets. Use Fat free dairy & Portion control. Makesome chicken soup and drink it whenever you want in addition to your other meals.It is filling and yummy so you won't feel missing out on stuff.
