Not exactly Craigslist but something like that. You think that if we reshape our bazar and classified section into categories (computer, clothes, electronics etc) and have people post the items they want to sell, it will work?
We can have a combo of Craiglsist and EBay where seller name his price and buyers can negotiate right on that thread.
Personally, I would rather buy an item from a known guppy of GS than an unknown person from Ebay or Craigslist.

I think you have a good idea at heart, but are you gonna get involved when inevitably there will be some sort of dispute about product order/recieved or payment issues? I see the potential of something really bad happening.

We kind of get involved in dispute anyways. Bazaar is pretty hot when it comes to desi clothes for ladies and every now and then we do get PMs but order not received right or someone ordered, person stitched the clothes but person never sent the payment.
I am sure that we can post policies and just like Craigslist does not get involved in transactions, we can do that too. I was just think that, for e.g I dont know you but still know you better than chunkylover69 on Craigslist who is selling Rolex Watches. SO I would rarther buy a watch from you than him.

BBQ, have you seen craigslist? Its different than Ebay .. and people buy a lot off that site.
Now about power seller, we can bring the reputation system back and sellers/buyers can give reputation to each other. Plus no known guppy would ever take adavanatge of another guppy. I think we can trust our people that much.

Ok, I wasn't aware of bazaar and buying/selling stuff on there. I guess you could proceed with that. And yes, would be better to buy/help someone from here than a random stranger.
