That will definitely be a good addition to GS.
But don't think it will only be regular guppies who will sell stuff, there will be a lot of new users who will just sign up to post their ads. You should keep a check on what is posted and who posted it, otherwise the place will be full of useless items on sale that no one wants to buy.

you could always have only guppies with a certain number of posts sell, that way some spammer selling fake rolexes does not show up every other day :D

BBQ, have you seen craigslist? Its different than Ebay .. and people buy a lot off that site.
Now about power seller, we can bring **the reputation system back **and sellers/buyers can give reputation to each other. Plus no known guppy would ever take adavanatge of another guppy. I think we can trust our people that much.
I don't think using the reputation system would be any indication that the seller is trustworthy ,considering the fact that the last time it was used people just used it to increase their pals "ratings" rather than using it sensibly or in the manner it had been intended !
Number of posts is again only lets you decide how far to trust the guppie /guppan based on the fact that you have more (in the form of posts) to make an informed decision.
Question : Would this be a paid service that sellers have to subscribe to ?

I dont think we would do a paid service. Just a free service. What do you think how we should qualify the buyers and sellers to be reputable then? Maybe it can only be available for VIGs then 
BTW, I have not even discussed this with Azkar, X2 or Muzna, I am just asking for ideas.
