One thing is standing up for your spouse against **your **family, but what you just described is just too extreme.

I dont think one as a spouse should come between what is happening among siblings. And I for sure do not think that telling someone to mind their own business is rude or disrespectful. Your posts just make it seem like you want your husbands family to worship him like God because he is doing all these things for them (It might not be the case, but it does come across like it).

No, its their whole attitude with my husband I don’t like. Tum baray ho, chup ho jao, tum baray ho, uss ka khayal rakho while I don’t see anyone saying the same thing to BIL.. tum chotay ho baroon ki respect karo. They’ll say oh he is just hot blooded and will laugh about it. I don’t see it funny. The only time my husband said something to them when they were telling me all kind of stuff, MIL said I’ll throw her out. Thing is if you don’t stand up for yourself and your spouse (I see my husband as someone who does everything for everyone yet is always told to shutup), I do believe that people start taking advantage of you. I see the need to come in between them because even if you errr kill my husband he won’t say a word. I ain’t gonna let that happen right!
