But eh the Germans have the Nazi’s as their identity. That is the last thing I should worry about.

180 million have never get an opportunity to decide what their identity is? Why worry about the nation who worshipped those who looted them. Not talking about Bhuutos and Zardari. Talking about Ghaznavi and Durrani. Even Hajjaj Bin Yousuf got positive credential in our history books, who is otherwise hated across the Muslim world for his atrocities.
I think Malala lovers or Malala haters can agree on one point. Our nation really doesn’t deserve people like Malala.

There are “White persons” in Pakistan too and they are Pakistani citizens. If you are talking about Angela Merkel a non-Pakistani then she has her own opinion.
If I was in Nawaz Sharif’s position I would have said … “The Pakistani people are not ready to accept the idea of a political motive behind education, for them education is about getting a good job, they are not going to accept or suggest alien ideologies to define them, like any other nation. On the whole they have nothing to be courageous about because no principle is strongly valued - by definition the Pakistanis are moderates in the true sense of the word, i.e. partially interested in all matters, serious about none. The identity of a whole country should be gauged from the trends in the society, solitary voices can be termed as visionaries, heroes or role models but not confused for being ‘identities’”.
