Im sorry, she mentioned her jewlery was OTT and one set was only $12k? Are you serious? A really heavy ott 22k gold jewlery set is minimum 20k. Who is she fooling. This has to be a troll.

mzprincess88 is not a troll. She has posted loads of serious questions and comments in the weddings section and has been discussing wedding planning ideas for a quite a bit. Also, she did not claim that her jewellery was extravagant or say this in a boastful manner. She said this : (see the highlighted portion)

My jewellery is (typically) huge and over the top (as is common in desis) and one set alone was $12,000.00. There are multiple sets and bangles..

^She probably meant OTT by western, non-desi standards as, realistically speaking, Desi wedding jewellery is quite huge compared to western jewellery.
