or maybe they just want a nice reception with nice clothes and food…and…yea…

like when you go to go to work you wanna be well put together

or when you’re invited to some event and need to dress up…

for some people the actual event is a really memorable thing…so when they look back 2-30 years later…maybe they wanan see a nice visual representation of the feelings and emotions everyone was sharing.

Nothing wrong with looking good and nice and spending at all.

But there is something wrong with accepting negative things in our society in the name of varying views and opinions. Jo cheez ghalat hai vo hamesha ghalat rahegi. Israaf is wrong and it doesn’t just affect one person. If it did only affect one I don’t think I’d care…but that’s not the case.

You can call it anything you want but reality does not change.

c’mon, how old are you?? you do realize there is world outside yours? and people with varying views exist???

Of course there is…and its also my responsibility as well as everyone else’s to contribute to the betterment of that world.

Admitting that much to ourselves and doing something about it is another thing entirely.

I don’t consider myself perfect but I do know that if you want to change something you have to be a part of it. People love doing all sorts of haye haye and afsos and verbally condemning things that are wrong among us…but does anyone actually take any action? No. Because typing is easier.
