Cosmetic Surgery, would you consider it?

if you had the funds would you attempt it with a really experienced doctor, augmentation, reconstructive surgery, just to make yourself feel better?

and yep there have been old threads on this but since we have a lot of new members, i’m just wondering about your opinions.

i hope you guys dont reply based on who the OP is…

Re: Cosmetic Surgery, would you consider it?

when i was gonna get my braces .. I had an option to get a chin implant instead..
they were costing me the same ( out of pocket :( )
though having a nice chin with a cute little dimple was tempting, I chickened out!!

Re: Cosmetic Surgery, would you consider it?

I wouldn't get any plastic surgery to change my face or features but once I pop out the kids, ahem, I will probably consider a tummy-tuck and a lift of the "girls" which may or may not need a lift after the ordeal of pregnancy. :p

Re: Cosmetic Surgery, would you consider it?

YES! I would def get a nose-job :D

Re: Cosmetic Surgery, would you consider it?

ya I hope i dont get a tummy after having my tinko minko kinko.. but if i do, i'll go for a surgery w/o giving it a sec thought

Re: Cosmetic Surgery, would you consider it?

honestly after a well endowed friend that’s a g cup or higher…I never asked her her size but there’s definite overflow…hey c seemed perfectly normal to me before but she wasn’t being a very good female friend and before i never really wanted to be huge up there since i figured every man around me would only look there rather than what i was saying.

women can be so critical and hurtful of each other as a result of jealousy or arrogance or whatever, good for her but whassup with the mean mouth

if i had the funds i would’ve made an impulse decision to get an appt with an excellent doc. why not, it would make me feel better about myself plus that part along with other features do matter to women or else why even put on makeup or use skincare creams :hinna:

Re: Cosmetic Surgery, would you consider it?

LIPO. All the way when I get moti
Wouldn't say no to Botex either :/

Re: Cosmetic Surgery, would you consider it?

There was time when I seriously considered getting my nose done b/c it's a little crooked. Fiance works with various plastic surgeons all the time so I know several one's in my city who're good. But I actually read what they do during that procedure and watched a video of it. Scared the heck out of me! Soooo....yea.....I decided I like my crooked nose. :)

But after having kids....I will do everything possible to get my body back to pre-pregnancy shape. Fiance has seen tons of women do it and the docs he works with refers to those as the "mommy package". Lipo, tightening of the skin around stomach, lasers to help with stretch marks, breast lifts.....even getting things back to normal "down there" if it doesn't happen naturally........pretty comprehensive packages..lol. And yes, I will consider any or all of those based on what I feel needs surgical help.

Currently I'm happy with my skin but years from now....if RA and peels aren't doing enough for my future wrinkles...I'd definately consider botox too.

Re: Cosmetic Surgery, would you consider it?

nope!

Naah..I am and will b happy with myself even if I ever look ugly to others

Re: Cosmetic Surgery, would you consider it?

I don't think I would, I had a tiny procedure about a month ago, to have a cyst removed - local anaesthetic, they cut me open, removed the cyst, stitched me back up and I was back in work the same day.
I had 8 stitches and the hassle/worry I had about making sure I healed properly as well as the pain I had afterwards really made me think that if a small procedure caused me such upheaval, how would I cope having a bigger surgery?

Re: Cosmetic Surgery, would you consider it?

Probably not! Simply because I find these kinds of things a but scary lol

Re: Cosmetic Surgery, would you consider it?

Really?! oh no...i've been planning to get my nose straightened out! :(

Re: Cosmetic Surgery, would you consider it?

I wouldn't say no to it...sometimes mother nature needs a little help.

Re: Cosmetic Surgery, would you consider it?

I don't think i would get any cosmetic surgery done. If it is something makeup can't fix (and makeup can fix a lot of things!) then I'm not interested in fixing it.

Re: Cosmetic Surgery, would you consider it?

Like MWH I'd be up for a bit of lipo as well after I've popped out a few kids..

Re: Cosmetic Surgery, would you consider it?

If porcelain veneers count then i will. i have naturally bad teeth. no matter how much i brush/floss/clean/avoid sweets i get crazy cavities. My teeth are not so bad yet but I think they could be better. If any one knows any good dentist who can do them for cheap please let me know!!!!

Re: Cosmetic Surgery, would you consider it?

Yeah lipo , tummy tuck

Re: Cosmetic Surgery, would you consider it?

To all the Muslims here:

It’s only allowed for medical reasons.

As for cosmetic surgery – i.e. surgical alteration of face or body for enhancing one’s look and beauty – it is not permissible. It is mentioned in a hadith that the Allah Ta’ala has cursed women who alter their teeth by filing them and making a gap between them for cosmetic purpose; and the hadith describes such women as those who change the creation of Allah

In fact, even wearing a wig is not allowed, so a surgery is far away.

Sis, no such thing as mother nature. We’re created by Allah. and Allah doesn’t need help. Though, I’m sure you didn’t mean it like that.

Re: Cosmetic Surgery, would you consider it?

why people make everything super complicated
