awesomesauce waterproof would be perfect! :k:
Re: correcting concealer?
by the way Paheli00, does it really stay on and doesn't come off with sweat since it's supposed to be waterproof?

The city I live in is very hot and very humid. The Lancome concealor, which I've only used on the under eye area, has done a great job at covering and staying put throughout the day. I do set it with powder. I don't wear make-up when working out, which is the only time I really sweat, so can't specifically vouch for that. I strongly recommend getting a sample first since the concealor is expensive. And of course, buy it when they're doing "gifts with purchase". :)
Re: correcting concealer?
Any other good concealers other than the pixi and bobbi brown?
L'oreal Paris, Blue heaven, and avlon are good brands that provides various products in affordable price. Concealer helps to cover dark spot of the face.

I got a sample of the lancome waterproof concealer yesterday and i'm still testing it since it's 30 bucks and I just want to make sure it's right but I just might have found my go-to concealer!! Not too thick and it doesn't seem to fade
Re: correcting concealer?
I personally swear by the MAC studio finish concealer.
But there's a lot of other great ones you can try.. MAC also came out with a compact that has many shades ranging from peaches to pinks for colour correcting and concealing dark circles. I would really recommend that to save some money.
Also there's Maybelline fit me concealer, Makeup forever camouflage cream (it's another compact that carries different shades), Eve Pearl concealer ** (I've tried this and liked it, it's creamy and goes on well).
As much as I love the texture of it. I always end up streak marks even oily spots under my eyes. I stopped using concealor years ago on the lids, usually its just the paint pot "soft ochre' on top of the lids even If I don't wear eyeshadow. I really want to try the green shade to omit the redness
I absolutely love the Laura Mercier secret camouflage....I am never switching to another, its that good, but a hefty price :(
Re: correcting concealer?
^Yes, the Laura Mercier corrector is nice and creamy and I like the coverage it provides, MA. Hope it's not discontinued as most products I love tend to be. I could just wear that alone with the beauty blender and skip the foundation.

I notice the streaks if I apply too much product. And honestly try it without a brush - get a sponge applicator like the beauty blender. The real techniques one is just as good and much cheaper. I get a much better finish and flawless coverage with it. I don't even use foundation - just the concealer for my dark circles and maybe a BB cream if I'm going out or something. I swear by that technique. I think use a concealer that works for you but invest in a great blender to seal the deal. :)
Re: correcting concealer?
^ Nahee yaar!!!
I do it ALL. CC cream+beauty blender+a special stippling brush just for concealer+plus a sponge even torn apart in half for a flawless coverage, phir bhi!! I have oily skin to begin with so MAC products don't really stay put on my face :(
Re: correcting concealer?
I had to renew my driver's license and I was in a hurry, so alls I did was apply my sunblock.....and after that I just applied the Mercier corrector under my eyes to my my dark circles and a couple other areas of uneven skin tone....and wet my my blender sponge and buffed it in. The pic turned out pretty good MA when usually drivers id photos suck...my mom was surprised too. Good stuff, that corrector.
Re: correcting concealer?
I'm getting a sample of Laura Mercier concealer too if it's really that good.
Re: correcting concealer?
Laura Mercier one is great! The beauty blender is a must with this one because it tends to be on the dry side but after I put it on it was like it was a part of my own skin. I still need to see how it does when it comes to sweat or being waterproof. Both Laura and the lancome ones I wish I could have.
RV, what shade do you use for the LM concealer? The lady that matched me was from the clinque counter and the concealer shade was too too light.
Re: correcting concealer?
try kevin aucoins sensual skin enhancer! although its like crazy expensive dont buy the full one. You can get a small pot sample for like £2 off the net which is supposed to last you a month. But tbh, it lasts ages as mine hasnt run out yet and i bought it 4 months ago (i use it every day), because its SOOO pigmented so a little does really go a long way. id suggest the sx06/07 for fair-olivey asian skin tone :)

What's fair-olivery asian skin tone in MAC shades? In NC or NW so I can tell what mine is in the kevin aucoins

not really sure about mac shades as i dont use them. Tried a mac foundation and not was it only wrongly matched, it was also really cakey and just downright thick. But im sure you can get samples from certain stores (if your based in america). Not so sure about the UK tho. If you cant get samples then just do what i did. I read reviews and watched tutorials online and picked out a few samples to purchase online, and felt that the sx06/07 matched well. (bit on the lighter side so as to highlight but also conceal). Watch Irene Sarah Mahmud's tutorial online.
